We slept on the ground in sleeping bags. There were a lot of people making noise until about 12:30am, playing music, singing, talking and yelling. The showers were not great but fine for a campground. I went to bed around 2am when everything had died down. Around 7am, some banging started like there might be a shooting range nearby. In the morning, I explored the camping area and got some exercise. So much better than a hotel gym! I ran around, shot some hoops, and bounced on their "jumping pillow" which was exactly what I needed before a day of driving. And it was so much cheaper than a hotel room.

Recently stayed here because its location is close to where I had work in the area. My complaint is getting charged for five nights when I only stayed for three. I had made an original reservation for five nights, but my plans changed and I only needed three. I called in advance to let them know of this, but they said that since the reservation was for five nights, they had to charge for five nights. I maybe could understand if it was a big holiday weekend or even a weekend for that matter, but it was during the week and the place was deserted. Just remember when you make a reservation here you are getting charged for it! Total rip off!

Nice pads and tables at the campsites. TONS of activities for the kids (ages 5 and 4). Great camp store. Literally no need to leave for anything! Not the same campground…read more I have stayed at this campground several times. My kids love all the activities so we try to make it a yearly stop. They have wibits, outdoor pool, jump pad and other scheduled activities. This time around we were somewhat disappointed with our stay. They campground has been going through a management change. They expressed multiple times they have a 5 year plan. Although I think they are over a year into the plan we had booked months in advance bc the campground used to be hard to get a spot. Although it was only about half full on a holiday weekend when we stayed. They also told us they would have a new resort style pool open by then. Although the pool wasn't even close to being finished. They have emptied out most of the camping spots and have cabins all over the park that have not been hooked up. The grass was really long and someone said the mower had broke. The pool was dirty and we saw broken glass around the edge. Lots of barking dogs, especially across from the playground. During our stay the activities were not at the same caliber as they used to be and many of them you had to pay to participate in. Like bingo you have to bring your own candy bar. And every interaction with one of the bears seemed to have something for sale. The times of events were usually delayed. One time because the shower house needed to be pumped out. I think the dynamic of the type of camper they are trying to reach is different than what I have seen here in the past. Kids still had a great time but just want others to beware if they haven't stayed here in a couple years.

The small pond had no fish (as I heard they all died due to an aeration issue), but my 4 yo still had fun tossing his fishing pole in the pond. So happy to have these new owners making this place a destination again. We will soon have a camper, and we will be coming here to enjoy a weekend for sure.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience at this campground. Both interactions with the…read moreoffice staff was met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. On our most recent overnight stay, we were one of only three occupied spaces in the entire campground. When we returned from a day out with our granddaughter, we found four large trailers filled with groups of adult men placed just feet from our camper. With dozens of empty spaces available, this placement was completely unnecessary and inconsiderate. The booking process specifically asks how many people will be on site, yet no effort was made to inform us that such large groups would be packed in so close. Each trailer,(not camper) contained at least five men, and the resulting noise and disruption ruined what should have been a quiet family stay. These men kept wondering around our campsite and occupying empty campsite picnic tables all around us due to the size of their group. When we voiced our concerns, the response from the office was unprofessional and dismissive -- essentially a "too bad, so sad" attitude. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we packed up and left early. This complete lack of regard for guests' comfort and experience is unacceptable.
