The Stratocaster that got work done on it

I had a very positive experience in dealing with Tim Russell. I was getting terrible fret buzz on a used Stratocaster I had bought. I took it to him and got a fret level and crown. He also put a new nut on the guitar. I can't argue the results. It plays like a dream now and the fret buzz is gone.

My 1982 Japanese P bass was painted Sonic blue using nitrocellouse paint. This is a P Bass of a Lifetime ! Great work Tim Russel

Ask the Community - Tim Russell Guitar

Hello, 1 of the strings on my guitar broke. What is the cost to fix?

You should really replace all 6 that way they will all be new and sound much better. I can do this for 28.50.

He looked at my guitar, closed his eyes for a few seconds, nodded thoughtfully, and said, "Yeah... she's got potential, man." Then he scratched his beard, stared at the ceiling like he was downloading a firmware update directly from the Rock Gods, and quietly said, "Follow me." What followed was less of a shopping trip and more of a spiritual pilgrimage. We wandered Guitar Center for what felt like three business days. Along the way he high-fived a drummer, had a philosophical debate with a bass player about whether tone is a mindset or a lifestyle, explained signal chains using a slice of pizza, a lava lamp, and what I'm pretty sure was quantum physics, then disappeared into the acoustic room. He eventually reappeared riding an office chair, tuned three guitars without looking, handed me the exact strings I needed, recommended an obscure pedal from 1987, and an album I'd never heard of that has since changed my life. Before I could thank him, he simply nodded, muttered, "Rock on, dude," and vanished back behind the amp wall like a cryptid protecting the sacred tones. I still don't know if James actually works at Guitar Center or if he only materializes whenever someone's tone is in danger.

They had some nice guitar in the store for you to test out. The staff are very nice if you need any help or have any questions. I walked around the store to look at what else they had in the store as well and they have tons of equipment here. There plenty of parking here.

After multiple calls from my end, I finally got in touch with the manager, ordered the instrument online, and scheduled the first lesson. The manager promised to call when the instrument arrived, but again, no follow-up. When I called, another associate informed me the instrument was there, but the instructor had pushed the lesson by a week without notifying us. When I arrived to pick up the instrument, the staff seemed completely disinterested. No one provided guidance or assistance beyond just handing it over. Overall, the lack of communication, customer service, and general interest in helping new clients--especially kids excited to learn music--was disappointing. I ended up finding another instructor elsewhere. This place clearly does not value its customers or take pride in bringing up the next generation of musicians. Would not recommend.

They just had their 1st recital last Saturday and they did an amazing job! Grateful for the school especially my son's violin teacher Ms. Allegra and daughter's piano teacher Mr. Nico who chose beautiful music pieces to perform for the recital. Ms. Allegra is sweet, organized and super patient with my son, who's usually really shy but he was so confident during his recital and he was happy he did a duet with his teacher during the recital. I'm amazed how fast he was learning. Mr. Nico keeps the lesson fun for my daughter. He really educates her in reading notes and playing. He's very encouraging and committed to teaching. The staff and owner, Jennifer, is very accommodating. Always emails or calls back at a timely manner whenever I have questions. Scheduling make up lesson is also a cinch just by doing it online. I highly recommend Prado Music Academy to parents who want their child/ren to receive top notch music training. Can't wait for the next recital and how much my kids will improve!
