This store has so many issues it wouldtake a 5 page essay to go into details. It all trickles down from the store manager. She is horrible. So bad customer service, several items not available consistently, did I mention bad customer service. The front of the house is chronically filthy, forget getting an apology when (and you will) have an issue. Honestly this is the second worse restaurant in the area. I've been here 4 times and had issues 3 of those times. I can not go back again. So I am not a big Tim Hortons customer only because I could never understand how they were a coffee shop and you could not add shots of expresso years ago. But I wanted to give them another try. And I said let me try something new to me. I got the hot matcha latte. No it tasted like green dirt. Not for me. I really wanted an exchange for something else but I didn't know what their policy was. I also got an everything bagel. It was disappointing as well. Maybe in 10 more years. When the cashier disappeared for like what seemed five minutes I realize that they were out of dark roast and had to brew some. While waiting I noticed flies on the donuts in the display case. This place is a complete health hazard. Coffee tastes like a sewer, hardly any donuts, horrendous service, and horrible food. Employees will probably yell at you at least once, forgetting your order, and then yelling at you again, asking what your order is. I had this happen to me 3 times the last time I came here. That is a disgraceful. So the final time I came here (which was only my third time here), they put horrifically burned, trashy, slightly rotted bacon on my egg sandwich. The manager was denial about it, claiming it was their "new type of bacon". So far, this is the only coffee/bake shop that I have ever been to where they call a health hazard something brand new for the costumers. Even after getting new bacon for the sandwich, I felt sick after eating half of it and drinking half of their sewage coffee. That's not it, there's more! They do little things that pisses you off. They charge you for water cups (there is no place on this planet that does this), forget things(spoon for your soup, chips with the sandwich), and act like everything that goes wrong is the customer's fault. Which doesn't make any logical sense at all! Lol It's worth mentioning that the employees appear to have a nonexistent personality. They are all the same, even the manager. Except that he's a little nicer and more naïve than the rest of these degenerates. These employees look like high school dropouts, back of the classroom losers, rail thin geeks, whiny all F's for grades kids, trashy whores, and pathetic "I'm in a gang" kids. Even the manager looks like a loser. He looks like a hardcore gaming incel that lives in a slimy basement. Probably the reason why this place is so horrible. This place is the worst location that I have visited so far. It is a failure upon a failure. Only reason why it's still open is because of dumb luck that there's plenty of people unaware of this place's awfulness and plenty of losers that decline their health eating or drinking coffee here. I see a lot of bad reviews for this location and not sure why. The staff is not super friendly. They do seem very efficient. I do not like the long waits in the morning but the food is above average. I've never been a big fan of Tim Hortons donuts. They never taste fresh baked although some of their pastries are wonderful. The coffee is always good and fresh. The place always looks very clean. They need to work on getting the food out faster and I would add a star. read more

So slow!!! If there is more than one car ahead of you in the morning drive past because you will be late. Someone please open another coffee place in fort st.! 7/25/20 This location has sped up its drive-thru. Now the problem is they rarely get my order right. I ask for a bagel double toasted with cream cheese cut in half. They maybe cut in half 1 out of 20 times. This morning, not only did they not cut it in half, they didn't even toast it (which has also happened many times). I hate to hold up the line by checking my order but I am sick to death of the incompetence of the people working there. Is it too much to ask to get my order the way I ordered it? I've contacted the company about this location but they never responded. I love Tim Hortons coffee so I should be able to go there every morning and get what I ordered. My caramel iced cap taste delicious but I ordered a plain bagel toasted with butter and when I drove away and went to take a bite out of it it is not toasted or barely toasted and the butter is just clumped on their worst experience I've ever had with Tim Hortons! I agree with previous reviews that this is the worst Tim Horton location downriver. They are notoriously slow and seem to have an issue hearing orders on the drive-thru speakers. They do run out of items and seem to have certain rules that don't apply to other locations. They do get drink orders wrong and seem genuinely surprised when asked to correct an item. Unfortunately this location is often the most convenient for me. They do seem to have made some improvement lately. However I do think that a new speaker system in the drive-thru might solve a lot of problems. It might also benefit them to reward employees for short service times at the drive-thru window. read more

Wow, please do not ever buy lunch here. Sandwiches were made twice. When we got home they still weren't right. BLT had no bacon or mayo. Grilled bacon, tomato and cheese had blubbery bacon and a nasty 1 slice of tomato. The soup was tasteless as well. Employee making sandwiches was rude and said this is fast food when my husband asked him to slow down. 25.00 thrown in the garbage. We always loved there breakfast sandwiches but lunch there is horrible. Never ever going back. I've been to probably every Tim Hortons in the Downriver area, and this one is the worst one, which is unfortunate if you live or work in the area. If you want donuts, you're better off going next door to White Castle and getting 3 of those tiny, pre-packaged donuts for 99 cents. I've gone here in the daytime and almost ran out of gas in the drive-thru. I ordered two Chocolate Dip donuts (the plain glaze with chocolate frosting), but I ended up with Chocolate Glazed (the completely chocolate ones with a layer of glaze). I even explained what a Chocolate Dip donut was to the speaker, even saying, "They're the glazed donuts with the chocolate frosting." I've never had this confusion at any other place before. I didn't complain since I didn't have time to dare go back in the line or inside. Perhaps, the instance that takes the cake took place at around 3:00am. The girl told me to wait a moment when I pulled up to the speaker. Three minutes later, she was ready. I asked her what donuts they had available, because sometimes a Tim Hortons has a limited stock of donuts ready at this time. She told me they had no donuts (but they were being prepped). Okay, so I asked if they had their breakfast sandwiches ready. She said not for another hour. I asked if they had their deli sandwiches or paninis available... no. I then asked what they did have, and she said they were only serving beverages, bagels, and muffins. Muffins! Okay, sounds good... "sorry we don't have the raspberry muffins." As a major Tim Horton's lover (EVERY holiday I am given a gift card there), this is the worst one. I often get a bagel and muffin with the occasional hot chocolate or water. Very simple order. Bagels are quite often not toasted enough or there is a VERY SMALL amount of cream cheese (I'm not asking for a mountain...just an even layer over the entire bagel...). I only come here when I'm so desperately craving a bagel that this is my last resort (at this point I would rather drive another 5 mins out of my way). But the biggest thing that peeves me off about this Tim Horton's location is that THEY CHARGE YOU FOR ICE WATER. $0.25 for the water 'cup'. After the first time I was told I would be charged for water, I kept my eye out for when I went to any other Tim Horton location or other fast food restaurants. There is not a single other location that charges me for the cup. I guess I am just very disappointed because I think this location cares more about saving money than caring about the customer. The final straw for me was the croissant that they gave me this morning (9/21/17). There was nothing sitting on top of it... I didn't drop it or anything. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches ($4), 1 Senior med. coffee and was told $8.90 something. I pointed out that was wrong. They refigured and said $7.90 something. Paid it went inside to talk to manager. She corrected the bill to $5.90 something. Three dollars less then first quoted! The errors have happened for the last 3 drive ( over 2 months) throughs. Approximately two weeks ago, on a weekday, I went here between 5 and 6 in the morning and ordered a black coffee. Only one employee seemed to be working there and she was cleaning. It took almost ten minutes to bring me probably the simplest order you could imagine for a place that's main point is to make and sell coffee. It doesn't take that long to make coffee there. There's no excuse. And even then, the coffee tasted old. It's right down the street which would be a convenience but if I feel like having coffee that disappoints, I'll make it at home rather than go here. Actually am at this location right now and the girl at the counter, not wearing a name tag so I'll refer to her as "the fat one", was rude when I asked for sleeves for the coffee. Friendly staff, but a $6.00 sandwich with ONE slice of turkey folded in half and ONE slice of bacon broke into 2 pieces is VERY Disappointing Same issue recently with Wyandotte, Mi location.
