A lovely family run business with fresh baked goodies, sandwiches, soups, and espresso drinks. The atmosphere inside is what would make me want to come back! I loved the decor, the black chalk wall, the hanging flowers, the lights, the tall ceilings, variety of seating options... just everything, lol. It was very inviting and a low stress low volume escape from the cold online most of the loud pubs and bars. I'm sure in the summer it's a great escape from the heat! I will 100% be back next time we are in Sylvan.

Was super surprised to find this gem when Googling place to eat Red Deer for my day trip here…read more Easy to find IF you use Google Maps. Can see the barn from the road. Lots of parking. Lots of things for the kids to play on. Patio looks sparse and a little uncomfortable on those tiny chairs. So many cool trinkets to see here. Unique for sure. Staff were very friendly but not great with water refills. Not too busy at a Sunday at 12pm (50% full). Friend loved his Reuben but felt the soup was mostly broth. Another friend got the kettle chips and they literally looked like plain Ripple wavy potato chips. My salad was amazing, vinaigrette wasn't too sour which was perfect. Needed chicken for sure. Salad greens were fresh, but the beets seemed lackluster. Overall a wonderful place for a coffee date, couples date, Sunday brunch with your mom, or just to see the trinkets and have a light lunch.

Three times now I have been there with friends when this woman proceeds to bring out the vacuum- which you can hardly hear yourself talk above - then the mop and bucket with the obnoxious smelling cleaner all while you are trying to visit with friends and finish eating. There is nothing worse in a restaurant and no excuse for it. I don't care if we are the only customers left , you wait until you close before cleaning the floor, it is rude and shows no regard for people that have paid to be there. I hope this changes but I and my friends will not be back to find out.

They had the…read moreworks laid out in fine form--pancakes, waffles, French toast, scrambled eggs, Dutch mini pancakes, plus a full fruit bar. Everything was fresh, hot, and constantly topped up. No sad, picked-over trays here--just solid comfort food done right across the board. The Dutch mini pancakes were a standout, and having that many options made it way too easy to go back for "just one more plate" a few times. Portions (if you can call it that at a buffet) were more than generous--I didn't need to eat for two days after. Great food, well organized, and exactly what you hope for when you walk into a breakfast buffet. Showed up hungry, left questioning my life choices--in the best way. Dam great food.

It was about noon when we arrived but the whole time there was just one other person in the cafe. There are lots of tables and booths for groups of any size. I ordered the chicken club wrap. It was okay, maybe even good, but I chose the tomato soup as my side. It was definitely not out of a can. Actually I wasn't sure if there were any tomatoes in it. Sadly it reminded me of a bowl of soup that I had in Omaha, Nebraska. In that very American cafe they definitely gave us a bowl of chicken gravey and called it soup. I'm not saying that is what Mitchell's did but I didn't finish it. Service was attentive. The meal was filling. My partner ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was quite messy but pulled pork tends to be that way. She said that there was too much vinegar on the coldslaw. Probably I would have enjoyed it more than her as I like vinegar. I gave it three stars as an okay place to eat but not a place I plan to return to. Perhaps this is more of a weekday cafe.

This is a place for healthy food such as wraps, sandwiches and soup. They also offer many varieties of coffee and other drinks. Yesterday I had a panini and today I ordered the California Chicken Wrap. The panini was a bit bland but the wrap was really good and both were right sized. The food prices are very reasonable here. The locals clearly appreciate this kind of a cafe because it was busy both times we were here. Even though it was busy there was no problem finding a table. Noise is well under control so it's a great place to carry on a conversation. For a summer there is patio seating out front with four tables. I can easily recommend Copper Creek and I will be back when we next pass through this way.
