Terrible customer service! My daughter received a reward from the Columbus Metropolitan Library reading challenge. One of the rewards was for a free drink from Tim Hortons. The person in the drive refused to honor the coupon and tore it up in front of us and told us we had to pay for the drink. I paid for it but the way the person spoke to me was extremely disrespectful. I am not sure if it was the manager or someone else. I strongly suggest avoiding this location to everyone! read more

A Carmel iced coffee should at least taste like it has some Carmel in it. A vanilla cream cold brew tastes like it had zero sweetener or cream. Pretty sure they purposely tried the least amount possible to work. I guess that's what we get for trusting the drive thru. read more

Food and coffee was great I work nearby around 6am and came one morning for coffee and it was probably the most spectacular coffee I have ever received from any Tim Hortons. Also efficient service and kind staff in the wee hours of the morning through the drive thru haha! read more

I don't know why I haven't learned my lesson. I keep going to the Tim Hortons (near Costco) expecting a different experience. To start, why during posted hours is the door to the dining area locked? You see people sitting inside but no one opens the door. What's up with that?! So, I roll with it and go to the drive-thru. They are out of timbits. Are you kidding? First time buying anything at Tim Hortons and the experience confirmed I've not been missing anything. I downloaded the app before arriving and saw they encouraged to pay with the app to avoid contact. I am used to this at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts so I had the young woman scan the app and she asked for payment. I told her my credit card was linked and she said it didn't work that way. I asked how it might work and she said she didn't know, and asked someone behind her. The man in the background said, "She's supposed to figure that out before getting here. We don't know how to do it." The young woman told me no one knew how to use the app and I told her that I heard what was said in the background and she was embarrassed. Everytime I come to this Tim Hortons, my order is wrong. Today, again I got my order. When I called them to let them know again it was wrong, Emily told me if I don't like it don't come to our store. Just had one of the worst customer service experiences at this location. With two cars ahead it took nearly 15 minutes to get an order in and received. The girl continued to try to cut me off to end the order and the location was out of bread and donuts. We did not receive two of the drinks or chips and the girl got argumentative about it. We received the drinks, no chips, and I gave up and left. On the way down the highway I realized I received the wrong drink. The girl working the window today should consider a job that doesn't require interaction with people. They could take notes from the Tim's in Westerville. read more

Second outlier in the Costco lot to open, I've seen open signs for a few weeks so I stopped in. Apparently the official grand opening is September 8th, so come in early that day for prizes, etc. Lots of road construction still going on, so be careful coming off 161. And the place has a not-quite-ready feel to it, though they are fully open. Lots of coffee options, some tea, smoothies, etc. Some pretty interesting, semi-healthy sandwiches. And of course the donuts. I used to really like those, but they have gone downhill the last few years. I just needed a snack, so I got an iced capp and a muffin. The capp is one of Sweetie's favorites, and it's fine, but nothing special to me. Nice on a hot day, sort of a coffee slushie. The muffin was a Reese's double chocolate or some such. Big, chocolatey with a PB filling. A nice sweet treat. Service was fast. Polite enough, but not really friendly. I think they were doing interviews at the front table. They seem to open 24 hours, which will be really nice for me on the way home. Nice to have one in this area, though I don't live nearby anymore. read more

Went to get a hot chocolate and "Lester" asked me what size, I said tall. He remarked "this isn't stabucks, we only habe small, medium and large". I said ok, let me get a medium. When I got to the next window I asked "Lester" for his manager, and he said: "I am the manager how can I help you?" I told him, is this the way you treat your costumers? He said it is satated on Tim Horton's policy book that the should give that answer when people ask for tall, venti, grande etc. He also mentioned he is the district manager and owns 4 Tim Hortons in the area. This experience proved to me to give up on fast food chains on the weekend. Or maybe in general. Go local!! We came to this location around 10:30 and they had maybe 5 donuts total. I've never seen a TH location so bare in the bakery. It took about 15 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich because they weren't following order numbers, but seemed to be randomly making and calling out sandwiches and seeing who would grab one. Absolutely rude people and terrible service, and my expectation with fast food is already LOW. Kids were sick so we stopped by for their favorite, Mac & Cheese. Manager told us that it was "not a menu item" in the US. Only available in Canada. Even though it's on their drive through menu. So we drive to the Hospital Drive location (1mi east) and they have it no problem. Called this location back, and manager tells me it must've been a "mis order" by the other store and there's no way that's available. Called Tim Horton's customer contact line, and was told that the Mac & Cheese is ONLY available in the US. Not sold in Canada. So this Manager's a complete failure lol. Whenever you think you need a cappuccino or a latte, take my advice and drive .5 miles on Post Road to Starbucks. The wait time is ridiculous and once you get to order they typically "are cleaning their machines" and are unable to serve anything but coffee. After experiencing this at least 5 times in the last two months, I am finished trying. Kudos, though, to the friendly and always positive older gentleman working the window. Lobby is still closed. Covid is over, get with the times. Drive thru speaker doesn't work. The over achieving staff failed to post a sign on the drive thru menu board. Went inside, however wasn't able to go inside because it's closed. The business model apparently is to be open but not be able to serve customers. I've been to a few in Ohio. I CAN NOT recommend any of their places. All of them are dirty, the staff is not friendly and even when we went in the morning, no choices on donuts. I swore I would never go back to this Tim Hortons because they were always out of stuff and never got the order right. However, it is next to Costco where I get gas and it had been a year since I had gone so I decided to try it again. Big Mistake! First, I ordered the #4 combo with a Boston Cream and a coffee. The #4 is a TWO egg bagel. In the past they always left the 2nd egg off. Guess what, still didn't get the second egg. Something that happens every time is not a mistake, it's a pattern, and it's theft of money. The sandwich was also cold and the cheese was not at all melted. To top it off, I got a whipped cream filled donut, not a Boston Cream. The guy at the window was nice, but he didn't give me napkins without asking, and he also initially tried to send me off before I got the sandwich. Maybe he knew something I didn't! The coffee was good and hot, so I gave them a 1 on the rating, or maybe it's because I couldn't give a zero. No excuse for them at this point. read more

Stopped in here today after lunch for a donut and coffee for dessert. Ordered the Carmel Macchiato that was advertised outside on a sign. I was informed they were out of milk and could not make the drink. I was further informed that milk wouldn't be available until around 6:00 when the delivery truck arrived. It was 2:30. I suggested they should go buy a couple gallons down the street for future customers since it would be 3 1/2 hours till their truck arrived. In addition, this store was extremely dirty. We had very poor service at this location today. We went through the drive thru and both of the drinks we ordered were wrong. I parked and then went inside to ask them to correct only one of them. They did not apologize for the error or even really say anything at all. Then I went back out to my car and discovered that they had put just a thin smear on one edge of the BURNT bagels. Went back inside, still no apology or offer to make it right. This was all from the manager! This is a beautiful location, but they really need to get their act together if they are going to keep up with what customers expect from the name of Tim Horton's. read more
