The pastries, sandwiches and bakery items were similar to those in the Baie-Saint-Paul location. There were quite a few people in the store who had discovered this place and were ordering lunch. They also have a bakery. There is a sample tray that lets you try their milk chocolate, 50% dark chocolate, and 70% dark chocolate. We liked the taste of their chocolate and ended up buying a bag full. I bought a 70% dark chocolate bar and a milk chocolate bar. The dark chocolate and lavender caramel bar my wife bought was especially delicious. The lavender came from the Blue Lavande lavender farm in Stanstead. This is a great place to stop and buy chocolate before you head to Mt Orford for outdoor activities. We will definitely be back.

The strawberry-melilot tart in particular was both beautiful and extremely delicious and the chocolate eclairs where delicate and not overly sweet. Just delish! We have also enjoyed the bread that we've tried from Dorville. I must admit that I'm often sceptical when a bakery tries to tackle such a wide variety of items. Unfortunately we came close to closing time so a lot of things were gone. But there were still some huge croissants and Chocolatine, Quiche, cakes, pastries. We ordered six chocolatines to go and one quiche Lorraine. The Chocolatine were 2.65$ each, the croissants were 2$ ezch and the quiche were 15$ each. I was simply amazed by the size of the Chocolatines I couldn't pass up get! And even after a 1 he ride back home the Chocolatines were still flaky and crunchy. There are all different kinds of Yelpers, but I would say on balance Yelpers are more adventurous…read morethan the overall population. If you happen to be in Quebec Province and travelling from Montreal to Quebec City or vice versa, there are several towns you might stop in to get a cross sectional sample of history, from Chambly, a synthetic, plant and just add water instant suburb in the middle of a corn field, to Cowansville and Waterloo, Bromont and Shefford, places that are seeing tradition eclipsed by suburban sprawl, are still mainly agricultural, and are seeing some hard times, but as they will tell you, hard times are nothing new for these towns that started as pioneer settlements four centuries ago. In any case, to get a sense of all this, I would recommend stopping in at the local boulangerie in any of these towns, getting an elaborate pastry such as tartelette aux fruits, milles feuilles, napoleon, paris-brest, chocolatine or just an eclair with a great cup of coffee, capuccino, espresso, tea, or your choice of caffeinated beverage, and look out the window as people walk by and take you through a story both fascinating and sad at the same time. If you can, buy a loaf of bread to take with you, and if you are feeling forgetful you might neglect to realize this until you are safely back at home.
