In addition, you can purchase hand made and dyed linens that the owner makes. They've got sheep and produce their own fibres so it's a really great spot that's clearly going to grow. You may have seen them at the Clarence market as their shop hours are currently incredibly limited. When I say they sell out fast, I'm talking 15 mins fast! Hours are 11-5 twice a week but you're often out of luck if you arrive by noon so get there BEFORE opening if you want some amazing wood-fired bread!

Unfortunately it can't get a 5 star because they were seen reusing the homemade jam from the individual servings - scrape the top, smooth it out and add more to the top. As much as I encourage good economics of not throwing out tons of jam - this isn't a great practise:-( So, I leave it to your judgement - food great, space small, cash only and great prices. There was a lot of outdoor seating, a picnic table under a gazebo and a large patio overlooking the water. There was a full wheelchair ramp that went into the cafe and also right to the patio. The woman working there was lovely. She told me that there were more treats that she was still putting out in the showcase and to tell her what we wanted based on the tags. A butter tart square (that looked mass produced, like you can buy lots of places across the country) for my husband. A chocolate peanut butter swirl for me - which turned out to be a homemade chocolate peanut butter snack cake with icing. I was pretty happy with my choice. :)
