Many of the food items that have been on the brunch line were eliminated. Also a family favorite in the past has been the biscuits and gravy. My husband best described the gravy as S.O.S., the stuff that the Army used to serve. Even the coffee was bad. We left with the feeling that there was just no effort put into the brunch. And to add insult to injury, they again raised the price to $60 for adults, and $30 for children. We are now searching for a new restaurant for our Easter brunch.

I pulled into Speedway to fuel up after queuing at customs in Canada. After purchasing petrol, which was 30 cents cheaper than the gas stations directly off the exit, I went inside for a beverage. Nicole J., the clerk, greeted me with a friendly hello. (We're not familiar with such courtesy in Cincinnati Speedways.) As I filled my cup, I listened to her chatting with the regulars, asking about their kids and how their weekend went. I approached the register and she exchanged the same pleasantries with me.
