    Large coffee

As you know, I am a Tim Horton's connoisseur. Maybe even an expert in that I understand the company standard and can recognize if a location fits the model. Frustrated with loosing at Monday night bingo, I find myself sprinting up the avenue to TH, Chesterfield (on Gratiot north of 23 mile). Having not had dinner, my blood sugar appreciates the bump; Let's call it late supper at 7:30. A very neat and tidy location. The only negative issue was their coffee displays weren't full and they were scattered across the shelves. Pretty far down the hit chart. My large double-double was spot on and the servers were super polite and friendly! Do you complain about mistakes in YOUR favour? Ok, there was too much creme in my vanilla creme donut. Boo hoo. My small chili was hotter than standards call for. Hmmmm, I blew on it...problem solved! I could write a separate paragraph on why that happened and the fact that it had already stopped cooking so it was a mute point. So, I won't. The restrooms obviously receive adequate attention and the dining room was clean and without clutter. As I stated, they have a wonderful set of servers on a Monday night and it's nice to know the place is open 24 hours. This was my sixth visit to this location since joining Yelp and learning all about Tim Horton's. There is a long laundry list of details I check on each visit. Upon hearing a complaint about someone being overcharged on every visit, I double-checked each of my receipts and can report this has never happened to me. With the computer system they use, I'm not sure how this ever could. 1/20 The following is boilerplate stuff for the unfamiliar: BACKGROUND: If you're new to the world of Tim Horton's, Tim's is currently Canada's largest "quick service restaurant chain". The bake shops are Canadian in origin but can be found in about a dozen states in the Eastern/Midwestern U.S. They are also represented in a few foreign countries such as Ireland, The Philippines, Qatar and even China. Yes, they are best known for coffee and donuts but offer quite a bit more. A small selection of breakfast/lunch sandwiches, soups, paninis and wraps. Baked goods include donuts, cookies, muffins and Timbits, their signature bite sized donut holes. STEVEN E. weighs in: It's a matter of apples and oranges with me. Visit a Tim's and you'll understand it's a totally different animal than a krispy creme or a duncan donuts. I review TH locations by comparing them to other TH locations and TH standards.

Iced Capp wasn't mixed properly and wasn't even filled up all the way. Waste of my money.

I don't know what it is about Tim Hortons but i have yet to find one that I love- except the one in Richmond, which I probably should have gone to. I stopped in mid afternoon today to snag an iced Capp and donut. Simple enough. There were about 5 workers just loitering around mingling and chit chatting. I waited 5 min just to get my order taken and I was the only one there. When I got my small vanilla bean iced Capp it wasn't mixed properly and wasn't even full. Waste of my money. I went to the counter to get my issue fixed but the staff was complaining how bored they were, how under paid they are and how there was nothing to do. No customer wants to hear that, especially when there was garbage through the establishment. My strawberry vanilla donut tasted like strawberry soap, if that even makes any sense. Definitely stick to a donut that doesn't have any fillings in it. Bathrooms were also dirty.

This review is just based on the exterior of this location. Whoever owns this location, DUDE, THIS PLACE IS A DUMP AND A DISGRACE TO THE NAMESAKE OF THIS BUSINESS. You probably don't even know who Tim Horton was. I swear, it looks like a warzone when going through the drive thru. See photos.... How long has this barely lit sign been broken out. Oh, and how about picking up some of the garbage thrown all over the lot. Since I dont see any response to the negative comments my guess is that you don't really care. Please do SOMETHING to make this place respectable. I cant even imagine what things look like in your cook and prep area. Just coffee for me thank you.

Melted ice capp, after just making it!

Of the 3-4 Tim Hortons in the area this one is by far the worst. Slow, rude and dirty.

I could see meeting a friend for coffee or getting some remote work done here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and everyone who helped us was friendly. Even though they offer a lot of fun beverages, I ended up going with a plain latte because I don't prefer sugary drinks but the latte was very good! I also got the spinach feta croissant and it was delicious - definitely recommend. My sister got the tiramisu latte, which she also loved. They have a pretty big pastry case with many yummy desserts that I will be checking out next time. Prices seemed a tad high, especially for the specialty drinks, but what isn't expensive these days? All in all, a really nice addition to Partridge Creek.

We opted for the ultimate menu package, which included sandwiches, scones, and your choice of quiche or frittata, fruit, or salad. The inside is absolutely adorable, and from where we sat, we could see the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. My broccoli and cheese quiche was absolutely divine, and so much food was left over that we took it to go. I love the lemon curd that came alongside the scones. This is more than a lunch. It is an experience, and I would definitely return. But ladies, it's not just for guys. The customer service was top notch. For our experience, my girlfriend and I ordered the Tea and Scones combination with two slices of the souffle quiche. We were provided with a variety of scones ranging from the sweet cranberry apricot scone to the tart lemon scone. All of the scones were excellent with the teas, and the cream and curd that came with them tasted as fresh as advertised. We were very surprised about how large the quiche slices were and even more pleasantly surprised at their quality. This is a spot I would recommend both visiting for the first time and coming back to. I definitely will be back the next time my girlfriend is in the area.

I let her know that. When I went in, it was early in the morning around 9 AM so barely anyone was there. I told her I wanted an iced coffee and asked for her syrup flavors that they had. She showed me the flavors which were quite a variety which made me excited to try. I saw that they had almond flavor and I asked her what flavor would go with that and her response was. I don't know. I'm not a coffee person. I don't really drink coffee in my mind. I'm like this is supposed to be a coffee shop and you don't like coffee? So I was left there feeling like wow I'm just out here on my own. I guess not a good feeling then after two minutes she was already done with my coffee and I looked at it and it was completely black. There was no milk in it and then I said well I'd like milk in my latte please she's like OK here and she poured some of the milk in and said I don't wanna overflow it . I ended up having to put tons of sugar in it because I don't think she put any flavoring in it at all. I paid almost $5 for a watered down horrible iced latte. The only good thing about this place was the ambience was so cute but unfortunately because of this experience, I have no interest to go back or refer this place to anybody. You should not be charging almost 5 dollars for watered down coffee and definitely need to get employees that actually like coffee or know something about coffee so that people can have the overall experience that they deserve if they're going to spend five dollars on coffee.

Soon as you walk in, you feel like you were transported to a tropical island in the Caribbean. Most of the seafood items consist of lobster, shrimp and mahi. The lobster roll I got came with pineapple coleslaw for $24, which is a pretty good deal for lobster roll. I also asked to have it with a side of chips, which was a good idea as it gave my meal more texture since the lobster rolls are very soft, but delicious nonetheless due to the fact they use Hawaiian rolls for the sandwich bread.
