1. This drive-thru only store would make you think they're more efficient because they only have 1 source of output, but it's actually the slowest store I've been too. And I've given them 2 chances to see if it was just a one off situation. 2. After waiting over 20 minutes in the drive thru to pick up an order for myself and someone else, they complete messed up and didn't add milk to one of the drinks. That wasn't my drink so I had no idea until I got back. And there's no way I'm going back there to drive 20 mins one way and wait another 20 mins for a drink. Extremely disappointed and it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. In fact I don't think I ever have for a Starbucks. Not only am I leaving this review but I'll be taking this review and posting it anywhere else to help people avoid the nightmare that is this location. Awesome customer service from Gabrielle/Gabriella... I can't remember which :-( Anyway, I got a tall iced caramel macchiato. Apparently I typically get grande which is a lot stronger than the tall. The tall just tasted like sweetened milk. I let Gabby (as I'll call her) know that I couldn't taste any espresso. To think if it, the drink was mixed when I got it. I didn't see the milk or espresso layer. Anyway, she explained a tall come with one shot of espresso and asked if maybe I add an extra shot. I told her I must usually get grande. I asked if I could just order and pay for a shot to put in my drink. She said absolutely, but rather than do that, she wanted to have a brand new drink made fir me and a grande one at that. It was perfect. Her kindness and awesome customer service goes a long way! I couldn't give 5 stars because my drink experience on the first drink wasn't great. I have visited this location a few times and the main reason I am giving it 3 stars is because I do not think that the location and design is smart at all. The location has a super tiny one lane, so once you are in line, you literally can not get out of the line. They have a few parking spots, which does not mae too much sense as you can not get out. The line of cars blocks you from getting in and out of a parking spot. Usually this Starbucks is so busy that cars are just waiting in the road to turn in. Once you do get to order, I believe they are just simply overwhelmed as I find myself repeating things 4 times in order for them to ring the drink up correctly on screen. I then typically get a drink that does not taste the best. It either tastes like pure water, or too much juice. I do not really like complaining about a wrong drink, but sometimes I do tell them my drink is wrong. I do feel bad because I think they are just tired and overworked, and they have to deal with people getting mad at them every day. I usually politely ask for them to put a fee pumps of classic in a small cup so that I can fix my drink myself. I'd hate to waste a whole drink for no reason. Overall, I feel like the design is not the smartest because you can't even get out of line and you can't park. I think this location is okay, they just are really overworked during Covid. read more

It's been a few years since my last review for this Starbucks. Unfortunately, I still think this Starbucks sucks. I visit this particular Starbucks once a week, only because the one I usually go to closes at 8pm on Saturday. I always mobile order my drink order because it's sort of a complicated order. Apparently they don't like to do mobile orders because they will help all the new cars in the drive thru despite you waiting in the lobby for your drink that you ordered 15 minutes ago. I ordered my drink with extra heavy whipping cream and instead of opening a new container the lady just finished off a bottle and I barely had any heavy whipping cream in my drink at all. The parking lot still sucks because there's only three spots, including one for handicap spot. I always park in the potbelly parking lot or lowes parking lot and walk over. I counted two wall outlets so if you plan on using this Starbucks to get work done, you're kind of SOL. They really need to expand this Starbucks, stat. read more

The drive thru set up is awful. Cars always go around to the back and try to bully their way into line ahead of those waiting. They should put signs in back saying not an entrance. They have paint on ground with arrows but obviously that's not enough. read more

I frequent Starbucks often and this is by far the worst location. Going through the drive-thru is always at least a 20 minute wait from the time you order until you actually get to the window. And half the time my order is wrong, even though it's a pretty simple order...iced coffee with vanilla and cream. I'll continue to drive miles out of my way to go to another location. I am a Starbucks regular and this location is just terrible all around. After a month of renovating, all of their original problems are honestly worse. Their parking lot is a nightmare, once you're in line, you're trapped, there is little consistency in how they prepare coffee, and they take FOREVER. They often turn off the order ahead option and have recently renovated to make this location drive thru only- the only thing making their line shorter before was parking in the lots next door and ordering ahead and walking in. It's a shame because we are from Richmond and drive past this location to the hall road locations for coffee now. The other day I ordered ahead as we pulled into the parking lot and the line (which I was trapped in due to the nature of the parking lot) took one hour and eight minutes for us to get through. Their headsets were down and they were taking orders at the window and then making them, each car taking 5-10 minutes. They also didn't make our drinks fresh, so they were totally melted by the time we arrived at the window. I am sooo disappointed in this location. read more

One of my favorite Starbucks locations! I've never been a fan of drive thrus but this one is quick and effective! Staff is always wonderful and happy to help. I've been here a handful of times over the last week or so and I've never had a problem. My drinks and food have always been made fresh and just the way I like them. Parking here is a nightmare so I suggest parking at Lowes if you really need to go inside. If not, the drive thru is quick and hassle free! I wasn't gonna add a review but I just keep getting irritated thinking about it I placed a order for a drink and banana bread I didn't leave a tip because well it's drive thru only, I had to drive my gas to get there and I paid for my drink . Anyhow I'm not about to feel pressured to tip for people to do their job some girl had a nasty attitude after I didn't tip her name start with E maybe Elaine or something anyhow I asked for a cup of ice water and here she hands me a water that had clearly been sitting out a while. I said I asked for ice water she goes and puts ice in the same old a** cup of water that had been sitting there. When I pulled off I look in the bottom floaters all in it. I'm literally a regular customer I come here 2-3 times a week. I will no longer be coming back and my kids did not drink that crap. So yes I'm glad I did not tip. The audacity to expect a tip especially when you did not go above and beyond and its drive through only is pure delusion. It was more than rude that I stood there for 10 minutes without one associate asking me if I needed help. All that were working knew that I had not been helped. I placed a mobile app and it was not visibly ready. When I finally inquired about my drink and told the associate what time it was supposed to be ready, which by this time it was 11 minutes after that time, she asked my name and handed me my drink with an attitude. I'm not sure why she had the attitude when I was the one that stood there for 10 minutes with her making eye contact with me several times but not asking if I had been helped or if I had a mobile order. Very disappointed being that I buy Starbucks at least once a day and twice at times. I hate to put race into anything and I'm not the toe to play that card, but sometimes it's hard not to feel as though it's a factor when everyone else is helped with no problems while you're overlooked while being looked directly at. read more

I work in the service industry but when I place an online order and need to pick it up right away I don't have time to sit in a long line to wait for an online order that I placed to pick up in stores. I normally stray away from Starbucks all together because I've never found the cost worth the quality. Today I had my boyfriend stop at this location to pick me up a Tall White Mocha extra hot. I specifically asked for it extra hot so that it would still be hot by the time he arrived at our house (only a 3-5 minutes drive). When I received my drink it was hardly lukewarm. Come to find out, the lady who took the order didn't seem to even understand what he meant when he requested the drink be extra hot. This location is hit or miss. Sometimes in the morning I can get in the drive thru and only have one or two customers ahead of you, other times it's very busy. They only have about 3 parking spots, then the other entrance by the Lowes. I've had people cutting in line from the Lowe's entrance and it makes the drive thru a long painful process waiting for your coffee in the AM. This location is very small, it's too bad they couldn't have made the layout/parking lot a little larger. Their service has been great. I've order items not on their menu, and they've made custom coffees or iced coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches are decent too. Never had a wrong order. I've been here more times than I'd like to admit, not being an Instagram loving, North Face wearing white girl and all. Truth is, Starbucks -- in general -- is good, despite its pricing. I really like myself iced coffee, and their hot breakfast sandwiches are pretty decent. The issue I have with this particular location is its size. It's a joke... it's the size of a closet. The parking area is limited to something like three spots. The Lowe's parking lot connects to the Starbucks, making the drive-thru situation interesting at times. Truthfully, the tiniest and most annoying Starbucks I've been to. They would have been much better off foregoing the drive-thru to make the building a bit bigger and add some parking. Oh brother. Where do I even begin... this location doesn't deserve a 1 star. In all honesty I would rate it a -3/10. Every time I go there (MAYBE once a month) I have to wait in a absurd amount of time to get my drink. Last time I waited 32 min and 47 seconds. I timed it. You could say it's my fault and I'm the sucker for falling for it over and over again but this is unacceptable and I am FED UP with this franchise. Another issue I have had with this location and every Starbucks I go to is that they NEVER mix the drinks. How is that enjoyable? It's not. Spilling the drink all over my car just trying to mix it up so it tastes somewhat enjoyable. Over priced drinks and terrible experiences that is what it boils down too. The location it self is in a terrible spot as if you have to go down an ally just to order a drink. I normally try to go to this Starbucks when I am on my way from Port Huron to metro Detroit. It's easy to get on and off the exit, and the drive-thru is a bonus. The staff is always very friendly and the line is WAY shorter than the Starbucks on Hall Road (M-59). Stop by here you won't be disappointed. read more
