Both projects were also completed on time as promised. Time and budget are important but just as important is the quality product they deliver. The design, quality of materials and workmanship are without question second to none. Excellent communication, clean and orderly job sites and professional employees made each project as smooth as any construction project can be. I would refer anyone building a custom home to Griffin Builders inc. The best custom home builder in the market.

We provided the panel from the old dishwasher for the purpose of color matching to our existing cabinetry. It took over 2 months for the dishwasher panel to be completed and was no where near the color to match our existing cabinetry. So they promised to " fix it". Well the improved panel was definitely darker but still not a match. Somehow they lost the "old" panel that was to be used for color matching purposes and obviously didn't return to us. Despite my misgivings about the color, they went ahead and installed it. After they left, we noticed they made a mistake with the install and we called within a half hour of their departure. They never called back. Luckily, our handyman was able to fix that mistake. They were unprofessional and definitely not customer focused. I would not recommend them.

Very impressed!!…read more Phil of the Remodel Shop did a super job on building our home. To start off we got into a snag regarding the zoning of our lot. Phil went out of his way to resolve this problem, which saved us the stress of either doing it ourselves or finding another lot. He gave us some great ideas that saved us money without sacrificing quality. The workmanship of Phil and subcontractors were super. They were easy to communicate with and very courteous. Our home was completed on time as scheduled. Really impressed when we saw the completed job. Upon finishing the job our house was ready to move in. No litter left behind.

The work him and his flunky did was very low quality. Phil is a con artist and a scam. The people he used for subs were a joke. He cut corners every way he could. Look it up for yourself. All these court cases are before I bought the house. When he came here he acted like he didn't know where anything was. Asked me where the bathroom was and he already knew! However, how Empire operates as a company is totally dysfunctional with an owner that only cares about making sure people know he drives a Limited Ram Truck. They cannot answer basic lead time questions of when a job might be completed. My roof was scheduled to be installed and was then canceled without notification. The reason I was eventually told was because the materials were on backorder, and they did not know when ABC Supply would deliver. The materials were sitting in my driveway the entire time. They took the easy route in blaming ABC Supply every time instead of taking accountability for their disorganization. After my job was completed, I had to send numerous emails to have them submit a certificate of completion to release the remaining funds from the insurance. I could not believe it was so difficult to get someone to submit completion so I could pay them the remaining funds. I understand people are busy but there is no internal communication at this company. Below/attached is an actual email I received from the owner Glenn Procknow after asking simple questions about when my job might be completed (after it was initially canceled) so I had an idea. The email is not altered or changed in anyway. I would recommend finding another company to work with if you have any roofing, siding, or gutter needs. "Glenn Procknow glenn@empireexteriors.org Jun 13, 2022, 10:48 PM to me How many roofs, gutters, and siding have you done Marc? How many roofing crews do you have? How many gutter crews do you have? How many siding crews do you have? How often do you talk to ABC supply to find out how thier inventory is? Do you control the weather? It sounds like to me that you know it "all" and don't even need us, even though you signed a contract asking for us to do the work. There is hundreds of jobs being done every day there is a nation wide shortage in all building materials. Gutter crews, roofing crews, siding crews are all being stretched thin with the amount of work over load that is happening. Delivery trucks are being bogged down unable to keep up with the demand. Along with the weather not cooperating we still go out of our way every single day to help our fellow man and our community.
