Unfortunately they don't take dental insurance but will submit the claims for you. This group is right adjacent to Dr Darajkian's former office so it always brings back fond memories for me. The other day, a huge inflammation was seen right below the silver crown. Noticing something was wrong, we visited another pediatric dentist. The new dentist took the x-ray and recommended that we take the tooth out because the silver crown was not sitting properly and likely had cavities inside. One the surgery was done, we noticed that the spacing between the crown and the teeth was so large that the food would get stuck, unable to be brushed, and leaving room for new cavities, not to mention that the old endodontic surgery was done improperly and developed further cavities (leading to inflammation). My kid is only 5 years old and was supposed to use the tooth for another 3-4 years before the adult tooth would come out. According to the new pediatric dentist we visited, it's likely that the old dentist didn't grind away the molar enough to put smaller crown to save time, but rather used bigger silver crown to save 10-15 minutes! Come dental dentists are always running against time and will never treat patients right. They look at patients as nothing but money. No doctor ethics. I hope other parents would not have to go through what we went through.

So I called and instantly was connected with Janina. Janina not only was incredibly welcoming over the phone but she was able to squeeze me in with little to no notice really! And, I was so pleased by her accommodating me on such notice. When I arrived Janina saw me right away and seamlessly processed my intake forms. Janina then graciously introduced me to Peggy! Peggy and Janina's aptitude, approach and overall care and empathy is something that is truly rare in 2021. I was absolutely floored by their stellar service. I was checked on consistently throughout my duration of time there. And, Peggy was so incredibly gently that I didn't even realize I was getting my teeth cleaned. She was able remove the fear that is normally associated with dentistry and so instinctually. Peggy is just amazing! She and Janina. Last year they billed me $250 over what my insurance company said was my responsibility. I shared the payment information the insurance company provided yet they refused to believe it. I paid the extra $250 which the insurance company paid them and fought to get it reimbursed which after two months they did. Today I had new services which was approved by insurance and my cost identified. Yet at the end of the service the Doctor informed me it would be $40 more. This after waiting an hour after my appointment for treatment. i will not be going back and would suggest others not bother either.

Due to a clerical error, Horizon Blue did not include my husband on my dental insurance but promised to fix it asap and sent over a proof of coverage. The dental office refused to accept it and after a week I stayed on the line with Horizon Blue so their representative can inform the dental office on what has transpired and also promised to fix it within 24/48 hours. Unfortunately, the dental office continued to refuse to work with us despite the call and the proof of coverage letter and on the day of the surgery informed us that we need insurance or cancel. we have had no choice but to cancel an emergency dental appointment. Very disappointing considering the great reviews. It is rather disheartening to listen to the hold music and announcement touting their "flexibility" for those uninsured when an actually insured person can't even get the appointment.
