I've been to this theater several times due to its close proximity to my home & it's just okay. Maybe I've been spoiled from where I grew up out west where the theaters are state of the art, impeccably clean, & with fully electric reclining seats. The seats here have a slight recline, but not a ton & they aren't in the best shape. The cupholders are sticky with residue & the cushions are really beat up on select seats. The IMAX is better than the regular screens so we usually go for that option, but the Tropicana IMAX has a slightly better screen quality & stadium seating. They also just refunded our tickets for a showing of Warfare without any notice. When we checked the website, it appears that they are no longer going to play this movie at all. Unfortunately south Jersey doesn't have many theater options, so we will still continue to come here but that's just the way it is lol. read more

I visited this theater for the first time in November to see the limited release of the third knives out movie. The theater is lovely and clean with generous size seating. The staff is friendly. The floors and bathrooms were very clean. The sound and picture were amazing. However, the seating is in need of revamping as the cushions were so worn that we literally sank down into them, and they were also missing pieces of pleather. All in all, I liked the theater and size of seating and enjoyed my time there...but the seats need a refresh due to being worn out. read more

Smaller but nice and clean. You enter and buy your tickets and popcorn/drinks at the same counter. Self serve butter dispenser could be more buttery. Soda also self serve from automatic dispenser where u push buttons to make your selections. IMAX $3 more. Seats just flexibly stretch back and forth but were surprisingly comfortable Theater little cold but not too cold. I've learned to always bring a sweater to the movies, just in case, to avoid hypothermia. read more

I bought a refillable cup from them as a promo for a movie. You can not bring their refillable cup into the theater! I was treated like I was trying to bring in a weapon, had to remove their cup to my car before being allowed into the theater. We love tilton square! The reclining chairs make it worth going here over anywhere else in the area. You can see perfectly no matter who sits in front of you, and it's so much easier for kids to sit through a movie when they can get comfortable. The staff is always friendly and the theaters and bathrooms are always clean. They have the freestyle soda machines, and you add your own butter and popcorn seasonings which the kids love. There is an also imax. We have seen countless movies here now and always have a great experience! read more

The golden age of movies .... ok, we aren't in them any more and I am not old enough to have anything other than history books as my resource in describing the experience of going to a 'theater' to see a movie rather than entering a cineplex with all of the glory of plastic. The new owners of the TILTON SQUARE THEATER have created a movie experience that is definitely DATE WORTHY ... TREAT ONE SELF WORTHY and to this person known for being frugal (Never call me cheap) it is worth paying a dollar or two more to see a movie. The previous ownership never seemed to have the resources nor the concern to welcome their customers to a movie going experience but as soon as you walk through the doors into this clean, bright, and Hollywoodish lobby you know you are cared for. The customer is in the spotlight ... the customer is welcome ... the customer matters. I couldn't help but notice how clean and well conceived the ticket sales and concession area is. They have even added soft pretzels from a neighboring business, which is a great touch! The beverage and popcorn buttering areas were spotlessly clean ... so inviting to get a drink and a bucket of freshly popped corn. You walk down a hallway that continues the theme of customer comfort, welcome and cleanliness. There is a mini-lounge area to sit in and chat before of after the movie. And, finally the theater has the latest in seating ... just don't get too comfortable because just like cell phone buzzing I am sure others won't appreciate snoring. The sound system was perfect, the temperature comfortable and the movie was pretty good (But the theater had no control over that.). The corporate cinema's could definitely learn a thing or two from Tilton's owners. Well done ... BRAVO ... A CLASSIC MOVIE EXPERIENCE can still happen in 2019 and its so much more special than binge watching on the sofa. .... you can even cuddle with your date. ;-) read more

Friendly staff and clean movie theater overall. We went for the Grand Opening of the new theater and the premier night for Avengers Endgame. Our experience was great and we took notice of the staff checking in on the rooms every so often to make sure that everything was running smoothly. The bathrooms we're extremely clean and I had no issues whatsoever with my experience overall. The theater was recently renovated and they had added new reclining seats which were a big plus for me and made my experience very enjoyable. read more

The redesign of the theatre is absolutely beautiful! Went on a weekday (to avoid crowds) for Avengers End Game. Price is $12, and military discount for $10. Woohoo! Not sure Imax prices are though..but I was happy enough for the regular theatre. You can purchase tickets online or in person. What I like the most is selecting your seats ( I recommend picking the lowest level to easily find your seat ). Very spacious and walkable with the recliner chairs. The chairs are comfortable!! So comfortable I can easily fall asleep... so make sure you purchase something to keep you awake. With that being said, purchasing the soda and popcorn at the bar is pretty cool. You can only purchase one size cups at $5 and fill/refill yourself at the Coca Cola machine that has many choices. For popcorn, you can put your own butter. It butter be good! Lol. I really don't know how It is when it's busy- but I hope this lasts. Since there is only 1 butter station. Sigh. They also have your own added flavors for the popcorn -sweet or salty. I preferred sweet! Hope that lasts well..because you know sometimes people can abuse these nice things which are unfortunate. They also play old movies so make sure to check the website for details. This is a great theater. They are offering rentals for up to 25 people for 225$ for 3 hours. You can either bring your own dvd or watch whatever they have playing. Matt and Phil were both super helpful while I was planning a small birthday party at the theater. They were responsive and even set up a table for small snacks and a cake for the event. The facility was very clean, and the staff on the day of was helpful and respectful. I would recommend this theater to anyone! read more

This place is amazing! It's the only place around to have the Self Serve (Free Refills) Coke Freestyle Machiene and have the recliner seats. It's a super comfortable and fun experience to come here. I watch a lot of movies here and never had a bad time. The popcorn is super yummy and they have many options to choose from. The prices are a little high but are worth it when you get things that other theaters don't. read more

I have been going to this theater for quite some time, and it can provide a super enjoyable and comfortable viewing experience. The things surrounding this experience however are really starting to hurt it. Mainly the staff. Everyone is rude as hell very short and almost unwilling to help. Very cold staff and it honestly makes this bomb ass theater so unenjoyable from entrance to exit. Aside from feeling like a nuisance to the employees, i think leaving the lights on during a movie is a bad move. read more
