I applied, was approved, was told I had to pay an extra deposit, and that was something I could not understand because that had never happened to me before. This property manager is a piece of work. Very condescending behavior. Please see attached photos. She kept responding via email as if I was asking or begging her to change the deposit requirement and that was not the case. I just told her I would not pay that much to move and to cancel the application. I actually moved into another Greystar property, brand new, and didn't have to pay a $1500 deposit. It was the interaction that was off putting that made me lease elsewhere. When I asked about my refund she never responded. I had to reach out to her corporate office after 20+ days had passed and file a BBB complaint in order to get my refund. I was told the refund would be mailed back to me EVEN though their website took my money instantly when I applied. It was not. The only refund option was to have it sent to my checking account or get a virtual debit card sent to me instantly. Absolutely unacceptable. Beautiful property though. Loved the black accent pieces throughout the home.
