I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately did not fit. Before buying this pair, I had purchased a smaller size when it was not marked as Final Sale. I returned that pair and purchased a half size larger, expecting it to fit better. However, the larger size was not only longer but also much wider, making the shoes look oversized and uncomfortable on my feet. I explained the situation to the store manager, Annabelle, hoping she would make an exception given the circumstances. I wasn't trying to break the Final Sale policy--I genuinely expected the larger size to fit because I had already exchanged from the smaller size. Unfortunately, she completely ignored my explanation, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help. She didn't even smile or try to have a respectful conversation. I was left feeling like she simply wanted me to leave the store. I shop at this Anthropologie location and online almost every week, and this experience was completely different from what I've always received in the past. The previous managers and associates were always friendly, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. This was the first time I've ever felt so disappointed. Policies are important, but great managers also know when to listen to loyal customers and handle situations with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, that was not my experience today. If you're purchasing Final Sale items, especially shoes, be very careful. Even if you are simply exchanging for what you believe will be the correct size, you may not receive any flexibility if the fit is completely different.

Cashier was super friendly as well talked about the rewards card and I signed up for it and even had coupons. I went on Black Friday and even then they were so so helpful. My wife went there to return/exchange some pants that were the wrong size and ended up working specifically with Miranda there in the store to get that accomplished. My wife said Miranda was great pleasant to work with and very helpful with the entire return and exchange process. She also helped my wife find the right pants that fit properly. In fact, she said that the entire staff was helpful there and was very attentive to her needs the entire time she was in the store. In this day of lackluster mall patronage, it was nice to see this store step it up and take care of its customers! Five stars to Maurices (and Miranda) for great customer service! One of the differences as opposed to California is that they carry Stiletto Knives, Also Known As CIA Gravity Knives. They are approximately 4.5 inches long and the blade deploys and retracts from the grip using a dual throw (Forward and Back) button or switch. Very cool! Don't worry California, I did not buy one, as cool as they are. Yup, all of the fun stuff is illegal in California, like butterfly knives, Stilettos and firearms with the "Fun Button" (Safe-Semi-Auto) on them. Sigh! One light at the end of the tunnel was "Jerry". Be nice to Jerry, he is a cool guy but if you get on his nerves, that's on you. All I can say is that he has seen some stuff and he may be the definition of "F" around and find out. Jerry is very knowledgeable and he pointed my nephew in the direction of the perfect tactical backpack, among other accessories and toys that will compliment his new career in federal law enforcement. I did not buy much, except for a memorable patch. I get one from each 5.11 I visit, just to say "Been there, my dude!" Overall, it is a large store with a lot of selection. If you are looking for some discounted or marked down winter ware, now is the time to check it out. I found a neat jacket, however I live in the Sweltering Summer portion of California and triple digit temperatures are less than a month away. So, I passed on the jacket. However, if you are Military, Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire Department, Practical Pistol Shooter, Multi-Platform (Pistol & Long Gun) competitor, or a First Responder of any kind and you need boots, pants, "Shorts", a tactical carrier (No Ballistic Plates are sold here, to my knowledge), morale patches, a quick snap tourniquet or some gym attire,... There were also a pair of ADORABLE 7s, but unfortunately, I couldn't justify the price- they were still $130 despite the "outlet" price. Their clothing is largely on the more trendy side- probably bordering on my fine line of what I find as being my style. (Me = slightly nerdy young professional type who likes to look cute, be comfortable, and somewhat stylish... at least sometimes.) The only problem was that one of the girls there was a tad pushy- I don't think she quite had an understanding of my style by the types of things I was picking out and she kept bringing by things telling me that "oh, this was super cute" and "these sold out so fast" and it got a little tiring.
