I'm not sure what possessed me to continue shopping, but I visited this Kohl's store. I had no problem finding a parking spot. The store is located in a plaza of box stores, which includes Walmart. There is tons of parking. I saw some nice tops and sweaters. I went to try on a couple of sweaters in a fitting room, which was clean and spacious. There were hooks to determine whether I had to have the item, if it goes back on the rack, or if I'm still thinking about it. Frankly, the sweaters that I was trying on weren't that flattering on me, so I had to put them back. This store has an amazing selection of PopSockets. I've never seen anything quite like it. They were all on sale. I saw regular ones that I am familiar with. You can get just the tops and swap them out. There was a cute donut enamel one. There were also fancy jewelled ones. I bought the purple jewelled one because it was pretty in my favourite colour. I liked the travel section. There were nice luggage pieces and accessories. There was an aisle of discounted watches and bracelets. I spent some time looking at everything. There was a bracelet with an infinity symbol as a charm that I knew a friend of mine would love. I went to pay at the checkout. I collected Kohl's reward points through the app on my phone. The cashier was helpful and patient. I used a credit card to pay. All was great. I have been a loyal customer since 2019, purchasing multiple items every-time I visit! Unfortunately, this past visit, there was a sweater in the window display that was my size and well-priced. When I asked the sales associate, who was the only person working during this time, if I could purchase the sweater in the display window, she informed me that their policy restricts them from removing clothes in the display window because "it is too difficult to take the sweater off of the mannequin." She informed me that I should come back at a later date when they swap out the clothing in the display window to purchase the sweater. I informed her that I was from out of town and my return flight was before that date. She told me that they could ship it, which I'm sure I would have to pay the shipping costs on, even though I was already in-person at the store. I am not sure if this is a real policy or not, but if it is a real policy, they should really consider removing this and making the mannequins for accessibly. Several sizes, fabric types, design styles and colors to choose from with all items (shirts, pants, shorts, bras, underwear and more). The cashier was genuinely kind.
