    I went to this doctor for years.. Boy have things definitely have changed! I suggest not using them…read morefor one: they don't call in your meds when their suppose to. They only do anything like call in your regular meds only when your not sick.. But when you are sick that's when you have the problem.. They won't help you just toss your problems to the side.. Say they will call your stuff in and never do. Even when you don't want any medication and want really what is fixed and if by the way their two docs this is Costello I'm talking bout. Ok if he is wrong about something or you ask questions he thinks your challenging him and he treats you like crap and next thing you know your getting the run around and then being dismissed as a patient for no reason! The wait time time for when you get app you better make it in super advance cause even if you been in the hospital they won't get you on for two weeks or longer.. I use to think the world of these doctors then they give the meds and narcotics to the people who don't need them and when you never asked them for a thing and have a major issue and pain to correct they call you not a thing in and treat you like a drug addict.. Even though I repeat never asked them for any kinds of meds.. I was waiting for MRI for two weeks and they had yet to send the paperwork over there and called me also two weeks later saying they were gonna call a brace in for my knee.. Well I had already bought quite a few since then considering it been two weeks!? They have no empathy or bed side manner so i suggest if your going to them even if your dying or know there wrong don't question his authority just sit and act like a dumb blonde or he will dismiss you and he's not even the doctor he's a PA .. I'm not the first they done this to.. I waited two weeks for I even called about my meds or brace when I was suppose to have it of course the day I went in.. But I guess he got tired of my one phone call to ask what's going on with what he was suppose to call me in? Basically run around two weeks with torn cartilage in my knee with nothing not a brace or any pain med to alleviate the pain like he promised instead I get I've been dropped as a patient and no reason why and certified letter I got from them that suppose to let me know what the reason was? There was never a reason nothing! Plus I'm on medication they had me on over 8 years and them not calling my meds in at all left me without and could make me go into a seizure or worse. Your suppose to be weened off the medication I'm On and they just dropped and revoked all my meds didn't even give them to me till I found a new doctor.. Thank you and just remember sit there shut up and tell him everything hunky dory even though u wouldn't be in the office if you were well!? But still sit and act like your ok and them he don't have to work so hard and maybe won't dismiss you.. Good luck people I am very disgusted and treatment I received due to the fact I always bring my pill bottles plus pay my bills on time so last visit he got paid for doing nothing at all as usual.     I give them 2 stars only because Dr. Higginbotham is not a bad doctor, he generally seems to care…read moreand try to make time and explain things, I just think like others that he may be trying to serve to many people. As for the support staff that is were the real problems come in. For example: When calling to get refills taken care off they will tell you "yeah ok we will do it today" and about half the time or more they don't. I have had to have them do this sometimes 3 or 4 times, just might as well say you will stop by in person to pick up just because there is a good chance they will not do it. Appointments, they will schedule you for say 10:30 and it's very common to still be sitting in the waiting room at 11:30 and when you do get back into office area another wait of 30 mins or more is the norm. My main complaint with them is the support staff they are just rude, condescending and do not seem to care. There was one time when my daughter was getting her vaccinations and the nurse was using one of those needles that the needle itself clips on and during one of her shots it came apart and was squirting all over the place, even got in my eye. When I questioned her about it she was rude all the way around about it, I mean come on you just squirted some kind of vaccine in my eye and my daughter got less than full dose and she could not even answer what one was it. When I requested a doctors opinion as she was a new nurse, she said he was busy and would have to wait, I waited about 45 minutes and kept getting the run around, I left and called back later asking the same thing and who do I get on the phone but her. I don't usually complain but things like this have just been going on for to long. Sometimes you get phantom bills for services that you did not receive, mainly just small stuff but it adds up.
