I've used their services in the past and will absolutely continue to do so in the future. Daphne is a pleasure to work with, and Juan is an exceptional technician. He actually performed my original service with Universal 10 years ago! This time, he was joined by his partner Jonathan, who also did an outstanding job. They are extremely careful when moving furniture and truly meticulous with every detail. Customer satisfaction is clearly a top priority with Juan and Jonathan Cleaning and restoring your tile floors is far more cost-effective than replacing them, yet it leaves your home feeling brand new. Their pricing is honest, their service is professional, and they are prompt and reliable.

None really can compare to how this company does business! The ease of making appointment, the professionalism and the courtesy that they extend to their customers is beyond reproach. Their technicians have been with them for so many years in the same technicians come to my house each time! Every time they leave, the tile looks like new and holds up for a long time. Unfortunately, we had to have a lot of work done in our house, dealing with pipes under theslab, insulation in the attic painting, and despite our best efforts, the grout got very dirty. They just left and it looks like brand, new grout and tile once again! Definitely a quality company with quality people. I recommended them to many friends and family members.

I was told this place is pretty reasonable with a big selection of items . Searching for laminate…read morefor my foyer, Paul assisted me and was pretty knowledgeable and explained the differences and what would be best depending on what I was searching for and what area I was installing it in. He stated some are better than the others for durability like Nucore & Durolux and still need to see the different ones that are offered . The one I was choosing was less expensive and happened to match better but when I tried the sample at home it did scratch easily with a flathead(I did as an experiment) as he had previously mentioned. He said not to drag furniture or anything that may scratch it. He said I needed a blue bottom cover for the floor underneath but u are if I actually need it . I decided to head back the next day and exchange the one I had with the one that was more durable to last longer since it would not be warrantied if any scratches were to occur. I also purchased a tool to install it if needed . I wanted to purchase and match a marble piece that I already have in the area going into the other rooms. He took me to the area and we picked a piece out. Additionally, I had the transition piece to match. He loaded the car for me. When I returned the next day it was busier. Another guy assisted me but was told to go to another customer and someone else helped me. He took the ones I purchased out of the car but there was a bit of a delay at the registers when I returned because customers were also returning and purchasing. I will more than likely have someone install it even though I do like to learn DIY .

This was nice. We had a couple of questions about different types of tile. High polish vs Matte. He answered our questions but then at the end said he wasn't 100% sure so we asked another person who gave us a completely different answer. Needless to say we left confused and have to do more research.

No, we didn't hit the lottery. But I saw a cracked tile in my bathroom shower stall. The tiles are…read morethe original builders' tile that came with the house, so it's amazing that cheesy tile lasted so long. But (thankfully) they are starting to go. So I can (finally) get new tile in the shower stall. So how did that extend to replacing the counter tops? Part of it was Mom's influence pushing for me to have 'nice things' as her gift and part of it was reckoning that if I was going to do work in the bathroom I might as well rip off the bandage and do it all. And since we're doing the master bathroom, we're also doing the guest - because hubby uses that one and he wants new stuff too. (Yeah, we'll be having stay-cations for years to come!) We returned to the fabricator who did our kitchen granite in 2012, Planet Marble & Tile. They had some inventory but are awaiting a large shipment so they didn't have a lot. They suggested we visit Omnicron to see their vast selection. We'd gone to Omnicron in 2012 but ultimately found what we wanted at Planet Marble. So when we returned yesterday we were already aware that we'd be blown away by their inventory. When you enter the showroom lobby, the receptionist assigns a rep to walk with you and take notes about the slabs you like best. We walked around with Saul (pronounced sah-ool) and took pics of the slabs that spoke to us. Omnicron faxes the paper with our selections to Planet Marble and they, as the fabricator, work up the quotes and present them to us.While the slabs have labels with levels (1, 2, 3, upgrade and exotic), there are no prices so you can look without sticker shock. They have row after row of stone slabs. Of course they put the exotic onyx and quartzite slabs by the entrance. So by the time you hoof it to the standard slabs you've left your heart in the other rows. But your wallet led you to the back rows, so off you go! We should have prices by Tuesday. We already selected an onyx-looking tile for the shower stall and travertine tile for the stall floor. So we just have to make our counter top selection to start the work. If the onyx is price-prohibitive we'll go with the one of the granite slabs that we both love. Needless to say, I'll be holed up in my bathroom once the work is done. Hubby is considering getting me a mini-fridge so I never have to come out!
