I ordered parts for a patient lift system. Tiger Medical did not make this an easy process. I had previously ordered parts from them and had no issues at all (hence the third star). This time was a completely different story. They ignored my initial outreach and when I did finally get through to a person the ordeal was just beginning. Confusion (on both ends) about what parts were needed, getting those parts ordered, shipped and delivered -- what a nightmare. To top it off, they're using some third-rate shipping company whose package tracking site is a sad joke and whose trucks are apparently powered by turtles. IF the last parcel arrives on schedule it will be one month from the day the order was placed. Additional information: I've added a star to my review because the parts arrived two days ahead of schedule, so ignore my remark about turtle powered trucks. I have also had to communicate with the account rep at Tiger Medical for some direction on lift installation and was very impressed with the prompt and professional response I received. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience with Tiger Medical Direct has been beyond frustrating and mentally painful. I ordered two exam tables over a month ago, and the entire process has been a complete disaster from start to finish. First, they messed up the initial order, which took two full weeks to correct. Then, after finally getting the replacement shipment sent out, it took another two weeks to arrive--only for the tables to show up damaged and broken. I have photos documenting the condition they arrived in, so there's no excuse. To make matters worse, they said they would send replacement tables, but now those are just sitting with a freight company, going nowhere. At this point, it has been well over a month, and I still don't have two usable exam tables. For a company that supplies medical equipment, this level of incompetence, delay, and lack of quality control is completely unacceptable. Ugh - I've been waiting 3 months for cabinets for a brand new clinic - obviously can't open the doors without them. Half of them just arrived - unassembled, after I paid for them to be assembled - now how am I supposed to put them together in a timely fashion!? - no instructions either. No response from them in almost a week now on how they are going to resolve this. To rate them as horrible is an insult to the word horrible! They charged me for overnight shipping and then sent my package 8 days later ground. I called customer support and was told that I just don't want to understand how things work and then hung up on me. The items I ordered stated "Ships in 2-4 business days". My item shipped 8 business days later. I called customer support to request a refund in the difference in the overnight shipping charge and was told "not gonna happen" and hung up on me again. I have been in the medical industry for over 40 years. I have never dealt with a company that it this horrible, shifty, & down-right dishonest in their business practices before. Tiger Medical states 24-48 hours shipping. I placed an order for exam tables on 10/5/21. The company sent no shipping information as promised. I called customer service on 10/11/21 requesting shipping information, and was told I would receive an email with the tracking info. No email was sent, and on 10/15/21 I called customer service to inquire again. The customer service gave me shipping information for delivery on 10/19/21. I asked to speak with the manager. I spoke with the sales manager to express my concerns, and he was rude while making up a host of excuses. I would not advise ordering from this company if you need equipment in a timely manner. I agree with the poor rating. I ordered an exam table, exam paper, and a stool. I was told orders will be ready on a set date. The order never came! I had to call the company, that said it was shipment delay/problems with the manufacturer; no accountability. No courteous call to update the buyer when orders are delayed. The exam paper came about 1 week past the due date. The exam table delivery date changed 3 times and each of those time, if I didn't call for follow-up, I would not have known that the delivery date changed. I spent over 8k on the Clinton complete exam room furniture package. This has been financed, which i have not missed a payment. I am starting a new business and when the packages were received, the guy who left them had us sign that we received it all, without giving us time to actually review the contents since there were over 20 boxes (large because of the contents). They did not include a chair for the patient to sit in or a glove box holder. They are now refusing to replace it because they say its been too long. This is absurd, the boxes have been sitting and waiting for the clinic to be open in order to build the furniture. They are saying it is not their problem. I am paying over 200$ PLUS financing fees for items that I NEVER received. On top of everything else, they haven't shipped out A BUNCH of items that i have ordered in the last 3 months. I ordered 2 exam beds and they are great! I will order 2 more from them. They do take a while, it took around a month to receive them. The only bad thing is that 2 drawers were broken ( it wasn't them, it was the shipping company), the company sent the replacement right away but it should also take a month to receive (haven't received them yet). After receiving it, I immediately realized it would not be what I needed and so, well within the 30 day return period, we tried to return it. They say somewhere on their website they mention that certain products are not returnable, this being one. It is NOT stated when purchasing, or in the description of the product. I suggest that if you want to purchase from Tiger Medical, you call the manufacturer and ask any questions you may have. Then, dictate to an operator in the Sales Office at Tiger Medical, exactly what you want. The operators have no idea what they are doing; nor do they care. I received two quotes from Tiger Medical that were full of errors. I called the manufacturer, Clinton Industries, (on a number of occasions) and they were very helpful. I also visited Clinton's attractive website and found it to be helpful as well. BEWARE. The shipping information I received was also not complete. The shipper provided "curb side" delivery, only. Ordered three treatment tables. All three were extremely damaged. Boxes were cut into, looks like they were burnt, and holes larger than my hand in the vinyl of the tables. I contacted the manufacturer listed on my invoice 3 times with the phone number listed and never received a response. I then directly called Tiger Medical where I Purchased them from their website and they indicated I was past the complaint/claim window and they are now refusing to refund or allow me to return the products. I needed an address change and Tiger Medical was going to charge me $450.00 to switch an address that was less than 60 miles from location to location - blamed the trucking company who carries delivers - but when I asked the trucking company, I was told that Tiger Medical would have to call and give me that price. The customer service manager that I supposedly spoke with, was not helpful at all. She sends me to the logistics manager where I was asked "Did we put the wrong address". It looked like a substantial, thick mask. I called to inquire about the mask, the woman on the phone told me it was a very good mask, and that the mask on the picture was that mask I would be receiving. What I received however were 25 paper thin white masks, without any inside layers. Actually, they are the same masks that now you are selling 30 for $240. At the pharmacy near my home I can buy this same type of mask, but with a much better quality (it has a piece of foam on the inside where the metal that adjusts on the nose is, and it's much thicker, it has other layers inside, and they sell for $7 each. So, I got a product that I did not order, of much inferior quality, and that now you are selling for $8 each, while I paid $10. Do you think that this is fair? That this can be considered good business practice? I really didn't expect this from you. I trusted your business, spent a lot of money there, and you acted in a deceptive manner. This is beyond false advertising, this is FRAUD. Hope to increase this rating.... Private pay for delivery to PT location... Was told delivery within 14 days... Charged almost $200 due to "freight" now being told on backorder. But funds have been deducted from bank account..... Funds should not be deducted until item is leaving Tiger Medical in it's freight truck . I've asked several times what's going on and I get generic replies. This in all is an $800 purchase..... You would think I would have been told that the Parallel Bars were on backorder. Tiger Medical is absolutely the worst company to deal with. Their customer service department, in addition to their sales manager, should all be fired and the company should start over. They all give a bad name everyone that is in the industry. I spoke to the sales manager who said that they can't control manufacturing time, which is true. He also stated that they had one of the beds in their warehouse, which can be shipped in 1 day. Three weeks later, he has no idea what happened and referred me to their customer service manager. Email after email, voice mail after voice mail, and no one would return any. Today, I called again (three months later) and asked to speak to the customer service manager. I was told by a rude, obnoxious, waste of human space person, that the service manager is not available and the person I should be speaking with is the sales manager. I refused to speak to the sales manager and asked for the customer service manger, but was told that I will not speak to her at all and I can only speak to whom they wanted me to speak to and was transferred to them anyway. These people are liars, cheats, and a waste of time. No other human should be taken for any rides by these people. If you want to lose 3-4 months of your time, money, effort, not get what you pay high money for, and be aggravated, feel free to go ahead with your order. After years of my prior medical practice using Tiger Medical I have now in my new satellite office needed a Audiometer. Tiger sold me a new Welsh Allen 282 that works great however the calibration certificate was out of date!!! Ingrid Colon at Tiger was of little to no help. Spent days and multiple hours to resolve this issue with Welsh Allen DIRECTLY. After a month later of this issue being resolved by Welsh Allen stepping up to the plate, Ingrid Colon checks in to try to have me return my unit. Clearly, Ingrid Colon is not only poorly representing Tiger Med but won't allow nor represent Tiger to stand behind the products they sell. They say get your money back from UPS, UPS says shipper must file claim with them and request refund as the shipper is who paid them directly and contracted with them, which of course makes sense. Zero stars. Do not order from this company. The products are very low quality and the customer service is horrible. No shipping or tracking information. No order follow up. We had a table damaged during shipping and followed the claim process. No response. Had to follow up several times only to be told the small parts would be replaced and not the table. Client had more issues and drawer front fell off. Tiger Medical said it was due to loose screws and they ship products that way. We then asked for a return and were told we were out of the 30 day window and it was a warranty item.
