This place is like walking into a different world. I am not a great fan of shopping malls and have always hated Kings Mall in Hammersmith. What a lovely surprise to come across this store. Judging by the number of reviews already listed, I am quite late off the mark. Very glad to join the club of Tiger fans. The concept is very European, very clean layout and loads of useful and fun accessories for the home - at extremely attractive prices. Love a bargain? You'll LOVE Tiger. Tiger sells an eclectic mix of shabby chic homeware, candles, spices, toys and a lot more. With prices starting at £1 and hardly ever exceeding £10 you will find it almost impossible not to buy anything. This month I have already bought two art deco picture frames (£4 each), large Chinese umbrella (£3) and candles. I also bought my son a wooden xylophpne for £5 at least half the price of other stores. The large canvas in my bathroom which would probably cost around £40 in most other homeware stores was a measly £5! Tiger is awesome. It's kind of like a small version of the accessories you find at Ikea. Vases, plates, lamps... even spices and herbs! All kinds of random, hip stuff and crazy low prices. Today I got some wonderfully warm slippers (wearing right now, thanks) a plate shaped like a leaf, a bathroom mirror, a large glass water jug, a woven basket, and 3 metal puzzles, all for 20 quid! Hurray! And, since it's right across the way from Primark at the Kings Mall, you can combine your bargain shopping day very easily. read more

The best thing to come out of Denmark since Lego and Bacon. ::: wait, Lego AND Bacon? good work Denmark! ::: Tiger sells household knick-knacks, a few funky gadgets and art gear for wonderfully cheap prices. Everything looks good and good value, even the potato peelers. There's something so appealing about a well-lit minimal store where things sell for £1 not 95p. Single integers FTW. I love Scandinavian retail. Everything is just so cute. This store is laid out like a miniature IKEA, only instead of flat-pack furniture, you can buy stationary, small housewares and gifts. Nothing I saw was over £10. Most things are under £5. Last time I was there I bought a plastic cuckoo clock (£2), an alarm clock shaped like a mosque (£1), paper serviettes with skulls on them (£1) and a shopping bag with a Shanghai print on it (£1). read more

Ohhhhh. I'm so split. On the one hand, working for a product design company I should be tearing my hair out that Tiger often take British designs and mass produce them without commission. But on the other hand... Their stuff is fun and very cheap. The problem, like with Primark and other disposable manufacturers, is that whilst being cheap and cheerful, is that their products aren't built to last. I bought a hip flask for a festival, which did the trick. I took it out the cupboard to use on a night out. Before long my bag had more vodka in it than the flask. Oh dear. But Tiger is what it is - a fun home accessories shop, which changes every time you walk through its doors. You'll never leave empty handed and be back before you know it. read more

I'm not really sure how Tiger makes any money. They seem to sell a bizarre range of things for very cheap prices. It's a great place to come if you've just moved in somewhere or if you're looking for something unusual but chea for a gift or for the house. Their crockery and cutlery is very cool, they also have some great things like light fittings and kitchen gadgets. It's a bit like Muji but with lower prices and lower quality and more colours. read more

Tiger is a bit like a posh pound shop, things are mostly under a fiver and sometimes you can get quite good stuff. Nott 100% sure of the quality of some of the items as mist are made for them and all branded tiger. Tiger sells a very strange selection of goods. You can buy crockery, small cushions, toys, stationery, socks, gloves, sunglasses, jewellery-making items such as findings and beads (these are particularly good-value), clocks, first-aid kits, candles, paper napkins, greetings cards, spices, chopsticks, torches, tissues, chocolate bars, garden implements, and dried noodles. To name just a small selection. The nice thing about it is that it's designed so that you can do a comprehensive circuit around the outside and see everything (I like to go anticlockwise), but be warned that you will almost certainly end up buying something. Particularly recommended is their kitchenware, which, while not of terribly high quality, is dirt-cheap and very useful if you need lots of small (and surprisingly stylish) dishes in a hurry. Nice shop in the shopping centre, when you go into the shop you would definitely pick up something to buy, there are loads of gift items, beautiful things for the house, umbrellas, gift bags, wrapping paper so many items from £1 to £10. All items are reasonable and they have friendly helpful staff. read more

This place is fantastic, especially for finding stocking-stuffers around Christmas time. There is a huge variety of product, ranging from flip flops to stickers to sushi plates and candles. Nothing is expensive. Most things are priced between £1 and £5. I love stocking up on wrapping paper here because you can often get 2 rolls for £1 and who wants to spend more than that on something that's just going to end up in someone's bin? The Danish toffees are very, very good, as are the simple canvas bags and seasonal goods that make it onto the shelves just in time for Easter/ Hallowe'en etc. Also like their notebooks. I've been to a few Tiger stores before and always love them so was thrilled when I moved to Hammersmith and saw this one. You can find pretty much anything in Tiger, from candles to photo frames, to back scratchers to fancy dress. It's always very clean and well stocked. The store is laid out in such ab way that you have to travel through the whole store to exit, which is clever and means you don't miss any cute little nic-nacks that you wouldn't have thought you needed! read more

Tiger is a great shop. The only problem is that you can't go around without buying something and a lot of small things cheap = a lot of nearly useless stuff which is quite expensive. The shop is great if you need to buy small presents to top up presents for your younger sisters and there are some real bargains to be found. Just make sure you don't get too carried away! read more

Tiger Tiger is a cheap budget shop but does stock some useful items. They have alot of ornamental stuff, arty things, cheap computer accessories, a selection of nice crockery & kitchen ware, nice candles, picture frames & lots of other bits & bobs. I did actually visit the store today & came away with a £2 fleece lined blue bobble hat with flaps over the ears for my younger daughter as it was bitterly cold outside & a cute £2 'angel' trinket box for my eldest daughter's christmas stocking. read more

I know we all love a good bargain (the reason why Primark is so popular) and Tiger is a variety store were there are nothing but bargains. Everything is priced at £1, £2, £5 and £10, and you can find a really good selection of unknown artists for £2 a CD! This I support because there is so much talent out there and they discover the unknown and make it known. Stationery, home ware, toiletries, cook ware, toys, 'artists' materials, tools, and more! you will find. Now my only question is: Why is it so cheap? (You might be saying it doesn't matter, but I think it does) It is our responsibility as consumers to care. Would you be o.k knowing that maybe they use under paid labour to make their products? (if you answer is yes, ignore the rest of this review). One reason could also be there store setting is quite simple, loads of wooden boxes arranged in a pathway for easy customer browsing. It is not an expensive setting, therefore reflects in their prices. Nevertheless, as I took to photographs very casually, the manager came along and asked me to erase them. They are not a designer store or art store were designs or ideas can be stolen (it is mass production), so I just wonder why the censorship??? read more
