One of my favorite things to do is cookie tasting. I love to cut a cookie into pieces for my family to sample and evaluate. When I received a great promo code for a dozen cookies, I knew I had to order a box of Tiff's Mix. When I arrived to pick up my online order, I was told no substitutions could be made for the Tiff's Mix. If I wanted to select from the bakery case, I could get the cookies I wanted. The packaging is very pretty. Cookies are separated with parchment paper. The taste of the cookies varied. Our favorites were peanut butter, oatmeal chocolate chip and double chocolate. The blueberry muffin cookie looked terrible and was our least favorite. The sugar cookie with m&ms was smaller than the other cookies. The cookies stay soft for 2 days. Never tried these cookies but saw ads all over Social Media over the holidays. I had a really good promo code so I used it one 1-dozen cookies. I alternated between regular Choc Chip cookies & Pecan Choc Chip cookies. I ordered online for pickup 1/2 a dozen of each. Ordering online was pretty straightforward. Picked up my cookies in time & they were warm, falling apart so you need a napkin if you're going to eat them in a car like we did, LOL!! The Choc Pecan Cookies tasted not too sweet except the semi sweet flavor did came thru. They're def not as sweet as Mrs. Field's nor Pillsbury or Toll House Cookies. One may prefer that which allows you to eat more, LOL!! Packaging was cute in a white box tied with a blue ribbon & the cookies were carefully stacked 4/parchment paper layer as they're medium sized. The shop is small & just set up for pickups. Only one female clerk was working getting orders from the back & handing to customers who ordered pickups. With no idea that a gift was coming, I received a text recently that a delivery driver would soon be arriving with my box of Tiff's Treats and that I should meet them outside. I went outside to retrieve the gift to meet the driver who was very friendly. The box was nicely packaged with a "thinking of you" box and also had a cute balloon attached. I immediately opened the box when going back inside to see a dozen cookies inside (three layers of four cookies). The array of cookies were the Tiff's Mix which includes chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, sugar cookie w/ M&Ms, oatmeal raisin and double chocolate chip. All of the cookies were still slightly warm and were soft when I bit into them. I thought all of the cookies were good, but none of them were "great" cookies. The cookies reminded me of something I would bake at home using refrigerated cookie dough - delicious but nothing out of the ordinary. I had often thought about their cookies but never got around to it until I happened onto a 50 percent off coupon. I purchased 2 dozen - chocolate chip, pecan chocolate chip, white chocolate almond, and peanut butter chocolate chip. I must say that if you don't make cookies or do not want to bother making cookies, then these may be for you. There is nothing better than a warm cookie. But if you are a baker like me, then you know that you can do much better. Pretty much any cookie can be improved if warmed. I always only bake enough to be eaten while still warm. I also experiment with additional ingredients such as expresso powder and sweet cocoa powder (and sometimes coconut). While warm they are soft on the inside and a little crispy on the outside. My cookies make Tiffs seem pretty bland. Issues: The 2 dozen warm cookies were spread into four layers in the box. There were actually too soft and fell apart - may be partly due to the heat trapped in the box and the moisture resulting. Unfortunately, each layer of cookies were a little crushed by the layer above. Now that they have cooled I was able to extract them from the wax paper. As to taste: pecans had a funny taste; the white chocolate almond had NO almond taste. My conclusion is that they not worth the expense. Buy a box of Costco cookies and stick them in the microwave for a few seconds. read more

I've heard about this chain online and their concept seems to work well around college campuses- late night hours, subtle undertones about "munchies", etc. As someone who regularly bakes, the cookies here were just okay and some similar concepts seem to have slightly better quality and execution (ie Insomnia). Picked up 3 cookies, $1.50/ea, warmed to order. I liked that they were soft but they were also very thin. The chocolate chip and pecan flavor was my favorite. This update is for the awkward delivery experience my husband had when I surprised him with 2 dozen cookies. The positive was how easy it was to place an online order. Once you place the order, Tiffs Treats will call the recipient and let them know that they have been surprised with a delivery from Tiffs Treats, and proceed to ask if they will be home at the time the delivery was requested by the person who placed the order. Of course he had no clue who it was but he was excited since he loves Tiffs cookies. The delivery was on time as promised, however it was the way it was delivered that seemed to ruin the surprise element in my opinion. When my husband opened the door, he said that he was greeted warmly by the young lady, but that everything was assembled in front of him, rather than it being ready to accept. Like when you get a delivery of flowers or edible arrangements, it's ready to go. They don't assemble the package in front of you. And that's how it was here. She placed the warmer bag on our trash bin, opened up a giant bag to place his box of cookies in along with the balloon and 2 chocolate milks. If it needs to be assembled, maybe doing it at the car would be more sufficient, that way the receipant isn't standing there awkwardly staring at their gift..lol. This is just my opinion though . Overall the cookies were warm and delicious and I'll give them one more go again in the delivery route. Maybe that's how they're supposed to do it, but that's just weird. read more
