My family went into this smaller version of the iconic jewelry store and were greeted by the nicest staff. My daughter needed to take pictures for her Honors photo class and they allowed her to do so. None of us were dressed, looking like we had any money to spend and I was sparkly-eyed through my whole time in the store, but we received none of the condescending snotty judging that seems to be the stereotype. A young lady followed us to answer all of our annoying questions and she let me play with the perfume and lotions. Do I need to mention the complimentary candy and cookies? Even though we did not buy any of their amazing product, we were greeted with enthusiastic "have a nice day" from each of the employees. I even got a perfume sample! The prices were not so bad either. They have something for everyone. I was celebrating a personal milestone and so I treated myself to a ring from Tiffany's. I worked with Rachael. She was so knowledgeable and pleasant. She definitely exuded everything I would expect from the Tiffany experience. Look for her if you are there. No pretense at all from her but I can't say the same from one guy in front of the store who gave me the once over. So I gave him the once over in return. GTFO yourself, Dude. The other reviewer obvi has way higher standards than me. I was blown away by this place. But let's back it up. My sis in law has had a rough year so I wanted to get her something more special than the typical Target fare I usually mindlessly throw in a cart. Plus I was a major twat to her earlier this year, so I needed a make up gift. I looked at the Tiffany website first and saw exactly what I wanted. Now the smart person would have just ordered off the website, but I wanted to check out the physical store to see if maybe they had different stuff. Enter Parkingpocalypse 2013. Eton is certainly a nightmare when it comes to finding a spot on a weekend. But I managed. Then I gingerly strolled my freshly lint rolled self thru the doors. I made sure to wear nice clothes as I didn't want to be treated like the lower class schlub I really am. It was magical. The staff were all impeccably dressed and the space was bright and engaging. They were very attentive and got right on my purchase. I ended up getting the earrings I saw online. They look a lot smaller in person, but hey.. As I waited for my gift to be wrapped, I overheard some dickbag chatting up a salesgirl. He was going on about how he skydives and blah blah blah. It made me chuckle and baby throw up all at the same time. Anyhow, I had a great experience here and hope I have enough money at some point in my life to come back. When it came time to propose to the most amazing girl I've ever met - I knew I wanted to give her something special and classic. Every girl dreams of a Tiffany's ring and that magic blue box and this was the only option I had in mind (even though I did shop around locally). As a guy, I honestly had absolutely zero knowledge regarding diamonds or rings. Thus, one of the best aspects of Tiffany and Co. was the amount of time, personalization, and detail my sales person, Katie, spent with me. After a few sessions in the store, I felt like a diamond and engagement ring expert. I started to notice when out if a girl's engagement ring diamond was big but really cloudy and thus not quality. Or when the clarity was nice but the cut was poor and thus less luminous. Things I'd never thought I'd notice! Katie also was great help finding a ring that balanced all the features I wanted and was also in my budget. That being said, Tiffany engagement rings truly are the best and live up to the reputation. The only rings they sell are absolutely flawless and with gorgeous cuts that sparkle and capture the light like nothing I have ever seen. Hands down, you cannot get a ring anywhere the quality thats at Tiffany and Co. anywhere else - as you'll see for yourself comparing cuts, quality, and other official aspects. Now, I have visited many Tiffany stores and am an avid shopper of Tiffany for the past 10 years, and I have high expectations. I've been to Tiffany & Co in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Cincinatti, Las Vegas, Barcelona, Spain, and Paris, France . I mention this to point out that I am familiar with the Tiffany experience. This store is seriously lacking. I am a stickler for details and if I am spending my money with a luxury brand I expect quality in the products and services. Tiffany & Co sells an experience along with a product and this store fails miserably at providing that experience. My first impression upon entering the store was the poor workmanship in the place. It's a brand new store, but it looks like it was pieced together with products left over from other stores. I'm in the commercial construction industry and I know crappy workmanship when I see it. But I can get over that. What I can't get over is the dirty floors when first walking in (now mind you it hadn't rained or snowed outside). The glass on the showcases was absolutely dirty. I'm talking more then finger prints. I made sure not to touch the glass. I know someone who works there and was informed that the glass is only cleaned when the cleaning crew comes in at night. Really? They weren't busy, and taking a paper towel and Windex would have done wonders. There were other customers who commented on the glass as well, but the employees looked on with a clueless expression. This Tiffany's must like to match because a couple of the sales girls were looking like the glass....A hot mess. They had less than a neat appearance and looked completely clueless. Now there were two employees that looked the part and were knowledgeable about the products. A tall young man who looked and spoke professionally and was knowledgeable about the products. I want to say his name is Demetrius but I could be wrong. Another was a young lady with a very friendly disposition. I think the most disappointing part was the managers inability to be knowledgeable about products and processes. The senior manager (I believe that's her title) was neat and friendly. However, those qualities only go so far when you're the manager and you have to rely on a sales person to help you do a return, which took them 40mins accomplish.That makes me question this stores ability to assist me in providing information on items for me to make a purchase. On a different occasion customers were greeted by a large dead insect in the showcase that had to be pointed out to a sales person and then removed. I had outstanding service from Laura, Rachel and Kevin when I purchased a watch for my wife for our anniversary.

I had to buy a last minute gift for a 13 years old girl's special event. I wanted a pendant or bracelet. I came in and was attended by Amy. This is actually her services that made me want to post the review. The store looks like your usual Tiffany's. What makes it different though is always the person that is behind the counter! Amy was extremely helpful because she really helped me to find the perfect gift . She questioned me and understood at the perfection what was the problematic and my aim in this gift. I left with a beautiful bracelet with the come back to Tiffany's charm. Because Amy knew her collections and listened to me attentively, she did found a way better option to the pendant I came for and that looked not as nice as I thought in real. I will never buy Tiffany jewelry again. I know Tiffany has a premium for their jewelry, which means you would expect spectacular customer service comes with, That is false. I have purchased a couple items from Tiffany for my girlfriend. She recently broke her bracelet after only having it for less than 2 years, She took it in and they charged her $50 to get a simple band fixed and then charged her sipping on top of that. It doesn't cost $20 to ship a tiny bracelet in a tiny padded envelope. I have been to local stores where they would have mended it for free. I will continue to shop local jewelry stores. I bought a necklace and had a name engraved on each side of the necklace. It arrived and one of the names was incorrect. I called the store where the same salesperson admitted it was her fault. I did not want to come to the store and wanted to shop it myself. I was told I'd have to bring it in myself. I took the necklace back and was told I could have just mailed it. Then, I questioned the price and was over charged for engraving. So many failures on so many levels. They gave me a water for my inconvenience. If I buy anything there again it will be online!!!! I stopped in here on my way home from work to see about a replacement chain for my Elsa Peretti pendant. I was greeted immediately; the gentleman who helped me was great and answered all my questions. He even took my pendant back to have it shined up. While I was wandering the store and salivating over all the beautiful shiney things another sales person checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay. They offered me water and or coffee while I waited too. I wasn't treated like a poor college student and I appreciated that. Pitiful at best! This location has truly left a bad impression on the Tiffany name. Having visited Tiffany's in many other cities I can not see the Eaton location being a success with the lack of knowledge, the messy jewelry cases and how unorganized it is. I waited on average 25 minutes to have my jewelry repaired and the incompetent short-haired blonde clerk asked the same questions over and over again. She finally called her manager at my request and she didn't know how to answer questions either. I refused to leave my jewelry in the hands of these people again and I would rather journey to Columbus or New York than visit Tiffany's in Cleveland! read more
