I discovered Dr. Lee when I was looking to get fitted for the Proclaim Oral Health System (proclaimhealth.com) that gives a complete and more effective (5 to 10x) water flossing in less than 10 sec. using a custom mouthpiece with 60 jets! After searching for dentist who could do it, she was the best qualified. I was very impressed by her background and accomplishments (youngest in her USC class and Prof. at USC). I was even more impressed after talking with her for quite a while, when I signed up for her dental program; it would be much less expensive than insurance as I am retired with no dental benefit. Amazing Dr and staff. Everyone is nice and very friendly. The Dr's dog is a part of the office too! My first visit was pleasant. Dr. Lee did my cleaning and exam. It was nice getting to know her. She was very thorough with the cleaning and exam. I didn't feel uncomfortable as I usually do during dentist visits. She made me feel at ease. I didn't feel pressured to schedule any treatments (teeth aligning, teeth whitening) but I really want to get them in the near future. My focus is to get into good hygiene first. There was a real feeling that they were recommending and pushing procedures that I knew were not absolutely necessary. Dr. Lee was the opposite. Dr Tiff is great at her craft. She is meticulous about her work and takes great care to ensure her patients are well informed before starting any procedure so there are no surprises. Dental cleanings are a bit more in demand and difficult to book but Nancy (front office) always finds a time slot or two to fit into my schedule. She will also frequently call with cancelled appointments should one become available sooner. Office is in the old part of Torrance across from Fosters Freeze. Staff is professional and instruments are sterile. One interesting aspect is Dr Tiff can make crowns and veneers right in her office using a dental-type of CNC milling computerized machine. Dr Tiffany Lee is one of the most personable friendly and upbeat dentists I know. She is a general dentist located in Old Town Torrance (very close to me) on Cravens Ave. her office has very convenient parking off street and within couple of hundred feet of the front door. They are moderately busy so don't expect to finish reading your magazine article before they see you. And expect a smile from the whole office team, including Coco, her Labradoodle. This is the first time in more than 15 years that I have had dental work so I was not sure what to expect. What I got was beyond just professional service (which was outstanding) but I trust her work and I trust her advice. Her operatories are very clean (super important to me). Her assistants are very friendly and knowledgeable so there is a sense that they know what is next and it makes the procedures smooth and efficient. Even her front of the house team is fun to work with. I needed a small break in the middle of my procedure (nerves I think) and she was patient and even offered up front If we need to stop, we can do that. The procedure was pain free (thank you zylacaine) so I was comfortable the entire time. At the end of the procedure we talked for a couple of minutes so she explained what to expect from my new crown and what might occur in the future, and what out treatment plan would look like in a few months. Overall, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more interesting professional and sincere dentist in your area. Phase 2 of my implant This is the phase where a post is screwed into the bone. It sounds horrible and painful but surprisingly, it is not. The extraction of the tooth and the healing thereafter was the worst part and that wasn't even too painful. Just a little discomfort, but shockingly no pain and I have a low threshold. Dr. Lee gave me two ibuprofen before the procedure and that's all the pain relief I needed; not sure I even needed that. Of course I had Novocain shots. I'm very impressed. But Dr. Lee's office has a really modern light & bright feeling to it, with far more state-of-the-art equipment than any other dentist I've been to! I've been going to see Dr. Lee for about 5 years now. She really knows her stuff and has a warm and friendly personality. You always feel at ease and in good hands when you go see her. Dr. Lee also takes the time to get to know you. Her staff is also awesome--especially Monica, one of the hygienists there. Monica is very thorough yet gentle and my teeth always come out sparkling. Recently when I went there for my cleaning, I learned about a teeth whitening system that was recommended by Dr. Lee. The system is called Opalescence. You get molds of your teeth that are made into these clear retainers that fit perfectly on your teeth. The whitening solution is in a syringe (no needles!) that is applied directly into the retainers and are worn overnight. I was worried about sensitivity, but am happy to report that I experienced very minimal sensitivity. I did this for 3 nights and I'm extremely happy with the results and how easy it was. It is recommended to do the whitening at home twice a year. And I feel like you get bang for your buck because I barely used any of the syringe this first time. There are 4 syringes that come in the package so this means it will last for a few years. Overall, I'm really pleased with the Opalescence system and am thankful for being introduced to it by Dr. Lee's office. I started to go to Tiffany Lee a couple of years ago after a co-worker recommended her to me. I like personal recommendations for dentists and doctors and this one has worked out perfectly. I've been going to Dr. Lee for a little more than a year and have been pleased with the results. I had braces in the past, but as usual, I didn't follow through with my retainers. So, some of my teeth had shifted again. I had looked around and went on the recommendations of other people who had seen her for Invisalign and were pleased with the results. However, I did not want to go through the hassle of taking time out to go to the dentist often for follow-up visits. But, I decided it was best to see what my options were. When I first arrived for my consultation, I was impressed with the office and the immaculate facility. It was both modern and inviting - even almost calming. Dr. Lee and the staff clearly explained what Invisalign was and I thought it was a good solution to my problem. I had x-rays, pictures and impressions done that day. In the past, I hated having my impressions done because it always felt like my teeth were being sucked out when they were taken off. But, this time, I was pleased that it was not uncomfortable at all (and even somewhat tasty). After the consultation, I waited a short time until the plan and trays came back. The office staff was very friendly and accomodating to my busy schedule to have my first fitting. Everything was explained to me clearly regarding the trays, how to care for them and what to expect. I have to say that it was much more pleasant than having braces put on. Since then, I have had several visits and am pleased with the results.
