I have to write about the amazing service I received from this store today. In 2015, my son drove from Suffolk County and made a purchase for his mom. My wife was so impressed with his generosity and the fact he drove this far to buy her a gift. She wore the jewelry she received as a gift on special occasions, it wasn't an everyday item. My wife noticed a defect in the product and we traveled back to the store along with the receipt to confirm the proof of purchase. The Customer Service representative we first met with said the item was purchased in 2015, there is nothing that can be done as far as replacement. We'd have to pay to have the item repaired. We asked to speak to a manager and Ms Reyes came to assist us. Without going into detail, Ms Reyes was professional and immediately rectified the situation. She gave us a replacement item and said sorry for our inconvenience. Folks, that is simply amazing customer service. I hope Tiffany management reads this review because we have purchased from the store over the years and it's great to know there are true professionals like Ms Reyes managing customer service situations as the one we had today. read more

I was really expecting to search through the store for a while until I found what i was looking for specifically, and then prepared to wait for a salesperson for a bit more time. However, that wasn't the case, this store is run like a well oiled machine. I was greeted at the door upon entering and after a brief description of my visit and the item I was looking for, the gentleman informed me where I could find it and that a sales associate would be with me shortly. No joke, while I was thoroughly enjoyed "window shopping", a sales associate greeted me and proceeded to help me with my purchase. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes with exactly what I wanted to buy. I wasn't sure if I liked this process but considering that it was busy because of the holidays, it was the BEST shopping experience. My second visit on this location. I am always liking the feel of visiting T & Co. I like more the feeling when I get out with filled Tiffany blue bag trademark with me. As expected, merchandise prices are not cheap. For a short necklace and a small pendant my husband got for me was racking up to a 300 worth . I could not have been more upset. You walk into most other jewelry stores and you can easily exchange in stores. Here you have to go downstairs and essentially mail out to get it mailed back to you. If it wasn't for that process and how expensive it is for repair and exchange then I would not have an issue. Thank goodness you do get a quote and you do have the option to decline the quote. The mail back time is very quick. I just wish there was an easier or smoother way. read more

It's Tiffany and so what else can I say but that you get that full blown Tiffany teal to the bone experience from once you walk in those doors to when forking over big bucks for a chunk of ice. Their engagement rings are oh-so Tiffany gorgeous and the experience of perusing is really an amazingly luxurious and elegant affair. No pressure all cordiality. I bought my engineer daughter a chunky hardware piece for graduation, and my other daughter who is all organic I got her the Peace olive leaves set while my youngest who adores animals chose the little elephant set that donated to African wildlife. I just came back from there now after Sandita who is bejeweled in Tiffany head to toe sold us Tiffany classic solitaire earrings. My point is there is something for everyone at Tiffany's. And I'm referring to style as well as price. There are affordable gifts to give someone and have them feel bathed in that Tiffany teal without breaking the bank. And the experience is always delightful, whoever helps you out. You feel absolutely comfortable in your jean jacket and mules and are treated with the same aplomb. They are smart enough to know the importance of making the experience feel familiar and fun for whoever walks in their doors. 1 star to the service! First, it was very hard to find an assistant. They all look pretty busy chatting to each other and ignoring the customers (I wasn't the only one). I finally asked a security guy to find an assistant for me. Lol I needed help with figuring out what I can do about a cracked mug. A set of 2 mugs was a gift from my friend and one of them cracked. I was gentle with the mug and never microwaved it or put it in the dishwasher. Last week I poured hot water in it and it just cracked and leaked. Shansnan (an assistant) finally came to me. The mug was wrapped in a bounty paper towel and placed in the original Tiffany box, because I didn't want to break it or damage it even more while driving. And she asked, if the mug was given to me in a paper towel like this. Rude! She looked at the mug as like she can't see the crack, but it was obviously there, a black line on white china. The manager wasn't that helpful either. For the first 5 mins she was completely ignoring me talking with the assistant in front of me. She never said "hi". When they figured out (by looking the person who gave me the gift in the computer) that it was purchased a year ago Shanshan couldn't stop repeating "we can't return it, it's too late" like a broken record. Very annoying and it wasn't helpful. I didn't even ask for a return! The manager said basically the same thing. The point is I didn't come to the store to return it, I wanted to see what I can do about the crack? Option 1 repair it, option 2 buy a new mug to complete the set, but two ladies didn't even think to offer any help, but saying "we can't return it" If you need help, call Tiffany customer support. A guy, Micky helped me in 3 minutes over the phone and I'm getting a new mug this week! I came to the store and hoped for a pleasant experience. Even if you can't help with the broken mug, make your customers feel like they are welcome. I also wanted to look for a pair of new earrings, but after being treated like this, I ran out of the store feeling like I did something wrong. read more

Bathroom: 3.5, Service: 3 The bathroom is located in the basement and its actually nice but for a luxury place, its just standard which is why its a 3.5. The bathroom's drying towels are too thick though which is what most luxury bathrooms have but no one likes them, they are outdated; just a note to businesses that have them. The service is a little uptight, i get this tiny tiny tiny feeling that the staff has a tendency to see a minority and judge compared to the anglosphere. HOWEVER, thats probably my own thoughts. Not a single person smiled in the store. I was very disappointed by my experience. No water was offered. No one was interested in my business. I parked in the front of the store (side facing Northern Blvd), when I walked in there were 2 sales people sitting and chatting. OOOOOKkkkkkkaaaaayyyy Finally someone in the "big" room became available, she was kind and helped me. So I asked her, why I was denied service not once, but TWICE. She toldme it was the gold and diamond room and that the sales people in there don't like to help customers who aren't purchasing gold or diamonds. OHHHH EXCUSE MEEE!!! I like Tiffany's overall- the sales help ranges from over helpful to somewhat snooty but by and large they find me what I am looking for. This location is convenient but also never that crazy crowded like the Manhattan location as there are far fewer tourists - this makes for a very good shopping experience. Amanda M., the assistant manager came to help look because the rings were in mismatched size bags. Patience is key because there were so many to filter through. After selecting my pieces, I was handed the beautifully wrapped teal boxes and gift bags. Something divine about those little teal boxes and perfectly tied white ribbons. My sales agent invited me to join them for their hardware collection breakfast event. How nostalgic...to be invited to have "breakfast at Tiffany's..." Worse customer service ever! They're super racists. I've been to many Tiffanys and Co and never have I been mistreated like the way I was when I went in yesterday. It was the very first time that I felt discriminated against because of my race. And I say this because they were VERY friendly to my white boyfriend who made the purchase a week ago. I went into the store to simply get an extension on a $500 dollar necklace that was bought for me, and all the sales rep kept reminding me was how much it would cost to get the chain extended, as if I couldn't afford a $40 per inch pricing. Further, when I asked if she had a 17" chain around just so I can try it on to see if adding an inch would be enough, she blatantly ignored me. All together, she ignored me twice, once when I asked her to help me untangle the chain and then when I asked her to show me a 17" chain. I've been to other Tiffanys and have never encountered such a RACIST STORE!!!! read more

High Class Jewlery with Low Class Treatment. Awful Experience. I will never shop at that store again! I have shopped at this Tiffany & Co. Store since 2001. I always received white glove service by lovely sales people. I have had 2 recent incidents at this store and will never go back. The sales people are rather snooty and obnoxious. They have a very unpleasant attitude. I wanted to exchange a gift and I got the 3rd degree as if I was a peasant or a thief. The bracelet wasn't worn, it was still in the box, and Tiffany pouch I received it with. I even left the ribbon in the bag! I just wanted to exchange it for something else. The person didn't give me a gift receipt and I felt uncomfortable to ask them for the original receipt to exchange it. I had to give the person's name and address for them to find the transaction in their system. They didn't find the person in their "system" and refused to take the bracelet. The manager inspected the bracelet like I handed her a piece of dirt or something I took from the garbage and claimed to see a slight scuff that wasn't even there. It was brand new! Never worn! She was just looking for a reason to not accept my exchange. The manager Amanda Mi and sales girl Mei Wu were impossible to deal with, unwilling to accomodate me, and refused to let me exchange the gift. Avoid Tiffany's in Manhasset! Worst service and treatment I've ever received. They're rude, unprofessional, and unaccomodating. read more

I've come into this location several times. I generally frequent the 5th Ave location (Where David is AWESOME!) but this location is closer to my work. Customer Service: They are O-Kay... not rude but not kind. They won't clean anything for free even if you are a frequent customer. They won't give you polishing cloths. $10 each, they aren't even that great! $85 to get a necklace shortened. $40 to bend a bangle (that they ruined) back to the way it was. I think Walmart has better service than this. Now, no one has ever been flat out rude to me here, it's not like that. It's just there is no service, no going out of your way to help the customer, make them comfortable. We went to shop for engagement rings and this was our first stop. Pretty exciting right? - Not at this Tiffany's location. We waited 5-10 minutes in the bridal section and no one came to help, a lot of staff walked by though, into the back room. We were already nervous as if and this just made us feel like we weren't worth their time. I went to find someone, she was kind and tried to help but she was not trained for the Bridal section. She fumbled on terminology and did not know how to explain things. At the end she offered us the card of the lady who was supposed to be at the station (who was with another customer, somewhere out of sight). We were told she was the expert and to call her with any questions. Gee, that was helpful. Tiffany's is definitely off our list. read more

The classy pieces are of high quality I have been receiving gifts from my husband for years from the manhasset location and we recently went together to pick an item out for our niece! She loved it as well as I loved the store and staff were superb treating us very respectfully and courteous when I asked to give me a minute to browse on my own in which she smiled very politely and stated sure of course I will be over there if needed! Whenever I've come in here, it's either impeccable or shotty. When I say that, I mean when it's dead, the associates will either greet you or completely ignore you. Only one associate has ever made me comfortable, Francis Kim. She's excellent. I had purchased something in Manhattan, and I wasn't loving it so I wanted to return it. She understood, but she let me look around and I ended up falling in love with another piece. I told her about my previous experiences, and she was very apologetic. The customer service after sale is inefficient and so annoying. We went in for a resizing service. We were told there would be no charge; we'll receive email/text update on the progress; and it would take at most two weeks. We heard NOTHING from them at all for two weeks. Almost made us think we left the wrong number/email. Two weeks later, we called, and they told us there would have been a charge for resizing but now they decided to waive it. And that's why they haven't started the process yet. And they told us it would take one more week at that point. It's annoying that they never communicate anything with us. And they were clear about no charge back in the store but now it's delayed because they're busy waiving the charge? One more week passes, no words from them again (no surprise). We called again (it's been 3 weeks). They told us it's just gonna take two more weeks (at least 5 weeks in total???) without even a reason. The least they can do is to care enough to give us some update instead of us calling them every time and finding out nothing else but delay. Very bad experience. read more

Located within the Americana Manhasset Mall. The "strip" mall is primarily all high end stores... Juicy Couture, Prada, Tiffanys, etc. Our friends took us to the Americana to do a little bit of shopping. Our friends were nice enough to host & house us for a couple days during our stay in NY, so we wanted to buy them a little house warming gift here at Tiffanys. We have been to a few Tiffanys- Maui, San Francisco, Waikiki, Walnut Creek Calif, Las Vegas, 5th Ave NYC. This particular one is pretty large and somewhat busy, I am accustomed to being greeted once I enter a Tiffanys by either the Security Guard or a Salesperson. A simple "hello" will suffice. We did not know what we really wanted to buy but decided on a couple candle holders. It took about 30min for someone to ask us if we needed help- uh, I've been standing here for about ten minutes trying to make eye contact with a salesperson. With a reputation that Tiffany & Co has, I expect better than average customer service. This store lacks that. read more

People also seem to want to push the higher priced items onto you instead of trying to see which item is a better fit for you. That being said, I do spend a lot here. Not surprised at the bad reviews. Was given a bracelet last Christmas and a month later the lock broke. Brought it back to the store and they fixed it. I thought they would have replaced the lock because I did not want it to brake again. Mind you they are rude. A few months later the lock broke again . This time I was not too happy when I brought back the bracelet AGAIN to be fixed.i asked for a new lock but they said no and they fixed it again. For the amount of money they charge you would think they would have great customer service but they do not. I know this lock is going to brake again.
