In doing so, ACI damaged significant damage to our home on things such as the basement framing, custom stained concrete, outdoor fence, outdoor stone work and insulation, to name a few. Furthermore, ACI left concrete splatter all over the city sidewalk, which remains to this day. Workers tracked mud and dirt throughout our house, hardwood flooring, laundry room and garage. Joe lack communication skills. At one point, Joe showed up at our house at around 6:30 AM with zero notification. I had left for work and Joe rang the doorbell startling my wife. Joe then texted me at 6:34 AM stating he was at our house. What kind of contractor does this? No different than the review from 12/12/2018, Joe asked for additional money outside of the contract. So you now have two scenarios where he's established his pattern of asking for additional money. In our case, we have a contract that clearly stipulates the price for the work. However, we now have to recover for significant damages caused by his company. When conducting a walk through with Joe of the damages caused by his company, he didn't acknowledge any of them. Instead, he opted to make disparaging, unprofessional and disrespectful comments to us; the customer. As a result, Joe was asked to leave our house. Take note: The company is NOT registered with the Better Business Bureau, however we are working to file a complaint. We also had to contact the city of Aurora to notify them of damages caused by ACI to city property. We are now moving forward with legal proceedings to recover payment for damages caused by ACI. We have plenty of photographs of the damage and only wish we could post them here for everyone to see. I echo the last line from the 12/12/2018 review, "Do not waste your time!"
