***This review is strictly re: my COVID-19 Testing experience***…read more This location is a walk-in testing site, and I first heard about from a friend who recommended it because it was so easy. I tried for over a week trying to get tested at a Federal sites via LHI, then tried CVS, also tried Kaiser, and other appointment-based State/County testing sites. Came up empty no matter what day or time I tried. No appointments available. So frustrating. So, I decided to give this location a try even though I don't live in this area and I wasn't sure how "walk in" would work. I'm so glad I did! FAST TURNAROUND: Tested On: Friday Results On: Sunday Turnaround time was just about 2 days! Wow! The other time I got tested at a Federal testing site, it took 3-4 days. HOW IT WORKS: You park in the structure connected to the building. Follow the COVID-19 Testing signs. It's free. Walk up to one of the signs outside the building. Scan the QR Code with your phone camera. It will bring you to the website where you enter the Site Code that is also posted on the sign. Fill in the form. Go inside, present your ID, and go check in. Then, head over to the testing area. Some nurses want you to swab yourself. If you're comfortable with it, go ahead. That's what my husband did. The nurse was really helpful & told him what to do. I did not trust myself, so I asked the nurse to do it & she did it for me. We got our results back at the same time. Makes no difference. I recommend this testing site. We came on a Friday afternoon & there was no line inside whatsoever. After we filled out the online form, the whole testing process took less than 5 minutes. Parking was plentiful.

I did not book this venue, but they were easy to contact and very helpful over the phone…read more I will/would use them for future events.

What an amazing community that Dojo has built. They're located on the corner with other food…read moretrucks who set up comedy nights, social functions and pig roasting. Dojo has a little bit of everything for tea lovers, coffee drinkers and smoothie enthusiasts. On a hot San Diego afternoon, I enjoyed an Iced Watermelon Sugar High which hit the spot and was lightly sweetened. My husband ordered the Cherry Bomb which was soooo good over ice and landed all the right notes. Both drinks were incredibly refreshing quenchers and I'd like to go back and try the Frosted Ginger Green Tea and Lemango Chili next (think mango black tea, chamoy, tajin and tamarind candy). Enjoy a drink, learn about others and get all the good feels of supporting your local business.

I love this space because its bright, lively (there wasn't a ton of people here when I came here on…read morea Saturday morning but people were nice and vibrant), and there was a ton of great energy. It's a place for the community and made by them. It's used not only for the coffee but for community building, for local programs and fundraisers, and for bonding. It's bigger than you think and is full of plants as well. There's not really a food menu here. There were a handful of pastries available. The coffee menu isn't terribly long but was really good. A small would run you about 4 bucks and a large about 6 dollars. As they make the drinks, they will chat you up but if you want to step aside and explore, they are super cool with you doing that as well. Tons of street parking. No on site parking.
