I was a resident of this park for 4 years, 2 years with the present management, I was president of…read morethe activity board and worked with 4 other residents who were on the activity board with me. We created good activities and had a lot of fun. With the election of myself and 4 other residents for different positions on the activity board for the 2019 2020 year Rick and Diane Ott absolutely refused to work with myself and 3 of the board members. They did nothing but cause hate, discontent, and division with residents of the park. This park has a $200 deposit policy to keep or reserve a spot that is refundable towards your last month rent if you are not returning in the coming year. When I made my March 2020 rent payment, Diane was sitting at her computer, directed me to the other office person who took my rent payment for March. 4 days later they had an appointment for me to sign for rent increase and policy changes for the next year. That conversation went immediately to they had made the decision that I would not be allowed to return to Rancho El Mirage as a resident or be allowed to to enter Ranch El Mirage in the future to visit any of my friends. My response WHY did you not tell me that when I made my final rent payment and credit my $200 towards my last payment. She immediately became flustered and said if you paid with your credit card she would credit my card. I told her I paid with check, her response when are you leaving, told her on the 28 of March. She assured me that she have a check from corporate before that date for my refund. On the 27th when I went up to pay my final electric bill $68.00, I had not received my refund for my deposit. Told her and RICK that i would pay my electric bill when I received my $200 refund. She immediately Called Marc Brown (operations mgr) on the speaker phone he assured me the Ck had been written and sent to my home in Billings Mt. I said ok Marc if you say I will get it I will pay the $68 electric bill. Upon hanging UP the phone DIANE BEGAN SCREAMING HE IS NOT THE MGR. WE ARE AND THAT I WAS A SLEEZE BALL AND LOOKED AT MY WIFE AND TOLD HER SHE FELT SORRY FOR HER THAT SHE WAS MARRIED TO ME. We were married 53 years at that time. I didn't receive my $200 deposit until the middle of April after I got home. Followed with a email from Diane that it came to Rancho El Mirage the day after I left. And that they made the decision to hold it till my $68 Check for the electric bill cleared. I have been told by residents that she told them before she told me that they were not allowing me to return next year. End result many residents made the decision not to return to this park next year. THIS PARK NEEDS NEW MGRS.

For a smaller park it is very nice. Not a whole lot of amenities, but you get what you paid for and…read moreit is very clean. We only spent a week here, but we were ready to leave because we were so tired of the Canadians talking about our president, the tariffs and the dollar. It was nonstop and continuous, and most of the time unfriendly. They have created a divide between their American friends at the park to the point where several of the Americans are thinking about not coming back because they don't want to deal with this. The park is also offering a 20% discount for Canadians to come back. They are not offering that to the Americans... Seems a little unfair. I guess my suggestion for the Canadians is they don't have to come here. It's none of their business who the majority of this country voted for And it's not our fault their dollar is weak. That's been going on for years. If you don't like it stay home.

By far one of the best RV resorts we've stayed at. Full hookups, concrete pads, spacious lots…read more Plenty of friendly people! Met a couple of sno-bird couples who made us feel very welcomed. Cindy and Don were just amazing! They gave us a ride on their golf cart to the lemon grove to watch the sunset..it was so beautiful. The pools look amazing but I had a fresh tattoo so I couldn't get in one...womp womp. The thing to do though is pickle ball! Lots of people playing pickle ball for sure! Pet friendly with a dog run. Rec room that is also their cafe! And the food was actually pretty decent and reasonably priced. I almost forgot to mention the grounds man who led us to our space on his bike! He was a southern man with a hippie personality. Loved his accent and he was very helpful. We will for sure be returning the next time we're in Yuma!!!!
