The car in front of me stopped in the middle of the wash tunnel, yet the conveyor chain drive continued to pull my vehicle, slamming me into her rear bumper. The assistant manager on duty told me to get an estimate and Caliber Car Wash would pay for the damages. It was the car wash's responsibility to turn off the conveyor chain drive when a car is stalled, yet when I returned with an estimate for the damage, the manager reneged on their promise and told me to sue the individual in the stalled car. They do provide you with spray bottles vacuums and towels to finish the job. I was there for over an hour but I got my entire car clean all the sand and everything. The vacuum could've been a bit stronger but I understand. After using a little elbow grease my car was spotless. The finishing area is pretty shaded and covered and they replenish the towels and spray constantly. there isn't a rush you can take all the time you need. It was well worth the money.

The previous owner had smoked in it and we wanted it steamed cleaned, washed, waxed & detailed. Price quoted $160. I picked up the van on Friday, 3/11. Michael was still working on it when we arrived, hence it was in a garage stall where the lighting wasn't the best. He told us that the carpet was still wet and we would need to keep it in a garage that night with the windows cracked so it would finish drying. Only about 12 inches were cleaned at the back of the van. The reason I know that is that nothing was moved underneath the couch and there was a box under the coach next to where the "VERY" wet carpet was. When I mentioned it wasn't good to have that box on the carpet that was wet, he said it was OK. If the carpet had been done that box would have been soaked and you would have seen it had been wet. It was a box of brand new brake pads.) We followed his instructions and the next morning, Saturday, I went out to look the van over and to start moving our things in. While the step wells were "Armor-Alled" and the leather seats were wiped down with some "leather conditioner", I found MANY things that were NOT done. I showed up at his shop on Monday morning. He pulled in and I was right behind him. I told Michael that we had a problem. I started to show him all the things that I found. He kept accusing me of wanting "New", I told him "No, I just wanted it clean - that's what I paid for!" After wiping off the top of the inside of a door and seeing the dirt, he told me to bring it back the next day (Tuesday) and he would take care of it. I showed up the next morning. He had not arrived yet, so my husband & I waited. He showed up and we left the van. I picked it back up at 4:30, he was not there and took it home. Again, I started to move our things into the van and went over it and his "fixes" were very shoddy. See the pictures below. I tried to load a video of wiping down the dash next to the windshield but the file is too large. Just that one video would have said it all. At any rate, I will never go back to FDG/Michael. He did an absolute HORRIBLE job and is not a man of his word. Also, if you notice the two 5 star reviews were done in 2016 & 2017. The 1 star review was in 2018 and mine in 2019. Do yourself a favor, do it yourself and treat yourself to a steak dinner!
