Decently priced wash , 50/50 for how clean it gets your car. Should get rid of the disco lights inside of wash.

Tropical Suds Car Wash

Other than being a little expensive, everything worked fine here at this manual car wash. I needed…read moreto rinse off the salt water from yesterday's crossing of the Bolivar Channel. Front row on the ferry was a great view but the van got quite the splashing of seawater that needs to come off. Despite the high clearance I have, the van fit into one of the self-wash bays well. I had to help the hose clear the corners but I was able to blast off the salt spray easily after inserting $4.75 plus another $2.00 into the machine. The dial worked the same way it does at every other manual car wash I've been to and the high pressure was indeed high pressure. The one minute warning was a little hard to hear but it's there. And now with a bunch of fresh water sprayed everywhere, the van is a good bit cleaner and I am no longer concerned about the salt spray. [Review 914 of 2024 - 234 in Alabama - 21943 overall]

To whom it may concern:…read more I took my car to said carwash on gulf shores parkway directly beside Public Storage .I put a $20 bill in to get a $6 car wash and was returned $2.25 in quarters?? ..hmmm you do the math.. the car wash left soap all over my black car.. then I used the $2.25 in quarters generously gifted back to me plus another 1.00 of my own money to use the carpet/shampoo/vacuum option... yea ! as soon as the machine turned on, it dumped sand in my backseat, the equivalent to probably 2 cups the icing on the cake was the sand was still wet and smelt like a wet dog and it was everywhere - I mean everywhere ...so at that point I gave up because I was afraid it was going to continue dumping more unwanted leftovers from someone elses vehicle... hands-down the worst part was the smell of the vacuum which I can describe only as dog, wet dog or rotting flesh. It is that repulsive. I have bombed my car put every scent you can think of in the AC filters and have something hanging over my rearview mirror and I leave the windows down as much as possible to air it out and it still smells terrible in my car! I have yet to find one person that will ride anywhere with me because of the smell. one friend got in and said it gave her a headache instantly ! I have researched and called this one particular number that they have on google . and it is out of service ! every time I or try to research who owns this what do you know? I can't get in touch with anybody ! So if anybody knows a good working number and contact information for someone who can fix the issues at the car wash and who has the authority to issue a refund to a customer for this particular location, please feel free to leave a comment or if you could steer me in the right direction, I would be greatly appreciative.! I don't like to be rude and leave bad reviews, but this place sucks and I would like my money back because I then had to turn around and go to a real car wash and spend another $20 re-washing and getting the soaps and off and my car properly . The handheld vacuum I used now smells like the same disgusting dog smell and I've cleaned my filter three different times and can't get that smell out . And it's a shark wand vac so yeah that's expensive as well and of no use to me anymore ! all in all I spent $40 Plus im minus my new handheld vacuum ... and for what? just to have my car smell so bad that nobody will even ride with me anymore ! How embarrassing! And it's a shame too because I hit the car wash at least twice a week and that's just money that they're missing out (whoever they are)! So shady! I'm not happy - not even a little bit so I would appreciate whoever owns this place of business to get back to me , however I'm not holding my breath. thanks for reading my essay on my car wash nightmare ! And no I do not recommend this dump! Go to the one right over the bridge across from the shell station and McDonald's !

Lots of cold bottled drinks, beer and more are available plus they have a huge auto carwash with free vacuum stations, as well. They are even starting to make available a litmited amount of fresh fruits and veggies. They also have competitive gas prices plus you can download their SmartPay app to save .10 a gallon every day.
