Went today and paid 24 dollars, now i know its a car wash so i don't expect a detail job. However after coming out of carwash my vehicle was soaking wet with soup still all over windows and doors. So i was a little upset but thought well i will just dry it off. The damn towels or old wet rags. This is a horrible car wash. I will continue to make the drive over to foley a 100% better car wash. I would think the money the owner makes at da wash he would put some of it back into the business. It might be a good idea to do that instead of putting all of it that large boat. Orange beach really needs a good updated car wash. read more

After a 700 mile trip to Gulf Shores, I was desperate to get the bugs off my car and inside vacuumed. Unfortunately this car wash leaves much to be desired. I appreciate that they make an effort to get the bugs off prior to going through the wash as other reviews have mentioned, but that is the standard in my mind. When I got out to vacuum and wipe things down, I noticed they taped down my rear wiper blade without telling me. Imagine if I had drove away like that! The rags were old and dirty. I was desperate to wipe down my car so I tried one and it just left a bunch of fibers behind so I put the rag away and wiped away the fibers with my shirt. Overall the wash gets the job done but don't expect any of the luxuries that other car washes have. read more

To start with the some of the young men who are left in charge are lazy and extremely rude. Occasionally, I have to run back through because they miss cleaning off all the love bugs. As a "senior" living in the south, I am very, very familiar with them! This time I pulled around to the office to go back through and faced an inquisition from a kid who informed me that I shouldn't have waited (arrived home in the wee hours of morning, car wash that afternoon) because now the stains would be PERMANENT!!! No, i couldnt run through again! He handed me a squirt bottle and a rag with a s**t eating grin on his face! He was so disrespectful and condescending. I guess my grey hair gave him permission to dismiss me. I will never go back! read more

If one has a vacation to the beach but does not wish to have sand left for the next 24 months, it is a must to clean your vehicle after the beach time is over. After we dropped off our wonderful beach equipment from Gulf Coast Rental, we needed to clean our vehicle in preparation for returning home. There it was Da Carwash. I will say we were caught off guard by the $5 vacuum only price but the car wash with free vacuum sounded nice especially at $8 for a basic wash. They weren't busy at all and it included a windshield scrub and tire shine. My little mini van was shining for the ride home in a monsoon type thunderstorm through Alabama. Anyway, the whole purpose was really to remove the sand which I think the vacuums also worked really well. I love that they have really long hoses so I don't have to try to figure out how to get all the areas of my van. read more

1st time here, did the Da Deluxe for $15 with all the whistles & bells. You pay with card @ a machine but then 3 guys spray & brush stuff before you get into the automatic washer rode :-). It does a pretty good job! The green light is out at the end of the wash and the brushes inside look pretty worn and dirty so I'll keep looking. Free vacuums, they do a decent job but I found a more preferable wash up the road. read more

I like this car wash so much I joined the car wash club. I canceled it when I left Orange beach for the season and continued to get charged. After a few months I did get a response and they said they are crediting me back. They suggested I "get a receipt at cancellation to confirm that the employee has canceled the account in the future. I will use the club again as I really think this is the best car wash in Orange Beach. read more

This is a car wash with a self serve dog wash outside near the office next to vacuum stations. The name of the car wash is " DA ' CAR CAR WASH" My rating is based on the size of the wash and the clean looking amenities. I'm not sure if they provide towels for drying the dog. In fact I've never used it because I didn't know it was there until today. The owners and staff are very friendly. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I couldn't find it when I googled self serve dog wash and it wasn't on yelp. However it appears that they have a Facebook page. read more

Broke the side mirror off my $100,000 Escalade. Completely ripped it off the side. Drove back and asked them what the deal was and if they'd replace it. They told me to get lost. Keep in mind, I have 3 monthly membership passes with this wash, and that is still the treatment they gave me. My best friend just came over and told me they cracked his side mirror this morning. He drives a 2015 Honda Civic. Neither one of our cars have ever been in an accident. This was 100% the carwash's fault. Save your money, and your car. You've been warned. read more

This place is great! They went the extra mile and took tons of bugs off my car right before the wash when I was the only one in line. Good wash each time and the vacuums are strong, some are stronger than others. They provided towels which is a huge plus, and they have vinegar spray. I prefer to bring my own spray cleaner. I have the basic unlimited package because it's close to my house, and I save a ton of money with it. Highly recommend! read more

So the wife own a condo at Tidewater and I come here three or four times a year... So it's a beautiful day and going shopping... I had the great idea to get or truck washed since where heading back home tomorrow and it's such a beautiful day... We paid $15.00 and waited in line for about seven minutes... Finally we got to the front and our truck was just to go in and we here someone screaming... Scared thee crap out of us... Come to find out the chain to the car wash came off... They came and told us and if we mind waiting 15-20 minutes... Well we really have no choice since there's seven cars behind us we really don't have a choice... I said they they should tighten the chain and he replied, " this has happened four times today and that they have taken out four links... So if they have to take out that many links I would say that they have a self tightening pulley out... So make sure you bring something to snack on and a drink... read more

I received damage to the front of my car from a drainpipe that is sticking out on the curb near the vacuums. It is on the curb so it is not easily visible when you pull in to park. The employee that I spoke with was not helpful at all and had a terrible attitude, but did admit that they had been hit several times before. They know they have a problem but haven't taken any measures to fix it. Customer service is horrible and my car has a gash in the front end. STAY AWAY! read more

TERRIBLE. If possible to give a negative stars I would. Right before we entered into wash, after we were already unable to get out (wheel already in track that takes you through), the car wash broke. Waited while they frantically tried to fix it. They did nothing to stop people from continuing to pay and enter the line for a wash. Finally fixed, we went through. Forceful brushes knocked mirrors back and forth. Have not yet checked for permanent damage to our new car. However, the car was still dirty. Stopped in for first visit. Nice prep. Bought top wash and asked to skip tire shine. Done. Came out of wash and pulled around to side to vacuum Very powerful vacuums. Also found a card with clean damp cloths and bottles of water/vinegar mix Very handy. As I was drying off one of the attendants stopped by to check to see if car washed ok. I said all was fine. As he looked over car himself he noticed some stuff under my wheel well. He then inspected entire car and somehow I had passed through some cement like sludge. He expressed concern it might harden and then not come off and asked if I would mine going through the wash again and they would use pressure washers to remove the substance. I did go back through. He gave me a courtesy to wash/wax and as I waited to go in, he and one of the other attendants pressure washed both wheel wells and the steps on each side of my Jeep. I gotta say this was the most exceptional wash I've ever gotten at a car wash! The attendant's attention to detail, concern for ensuring my car wash was done correctly and then going out of his way to ensure my car came out perfectly was exceptional service.
