I know it's slated to close one day as the building owner was looking to sell and force this adorable little shop OOB. Maybe a change of heart has kept it alive? There are some surprisingly great deals if you know what you're doing. The key to this boutique is atmosphere. It's so cozy and cliché that it's inviting. There's an endearing selection of pieces whose only limit is due to the size of the shoppe. The proprietor is such a lovely lady. I could spend hours listening to her. Really knows her community's history. We only found a few little things on this day, but hope to return with a better idea of what we can use. We suggested to each other the Hoover Gardens & Gift Center and truthfully, the weather was so beautiful we almost didn't mind the quick drive up Sunbury Rd. I honestly expected not to find them open with the holiday. OMG when we did we felt like we just hit the jackpot! We were SO excited! Picked up everything we needed (for now) and just had a blast. The staff was fully busy and working and we appreciated their help so much all the way up to the cash out. The service has always been amazing here and it is just a nice neighborhood gem. As we were pulling out my husband said to me, "We need to consider very carefully where we shop. Local all the way. These are the types of businesses we need to support." Well said...and...we'll be back!

Clothing, cosmetics, home decor, cleaning supplies -- this place is filled with super-hip green products. Here's just a taste of what I've found at Good Earth: -Organic cotton t-shirts, polos and other fashionable men's and women's clothing. It's tough to find eco-friendly stuff that doesn't look like you just came in off the trail. Score one for Good Earth. -Bathrobes made from bamboo -Clocks, frames and business card holders made from re-purposed bike chains -A very cool selection of baby clothes -An exhaustive selection of Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products...Giant Eagle might have a few items, but no one has all this! -Mugs and cups made from remolded beer and wine bottles -Furniture made from wine and whiskey barrels Good Earth stocks a good bit more than what I listed here.
