We enjoyed a very fun an informative session of wine tasting, trivia, and education. Prior to the session the communication with the organizers and team was flawless. Everyone was very accommodating given our tight schedule and our tastes and preferences were addressed. When we arrived we set foot in a magically aesthetic kitchen and shop. The set up itself for the course was divine. It was a true 1:1 experience that felt intimate and exclusive. Gilliam, the Sommelier was charismatic, well spoken, and extremely passionate about wine. He answered all of questions and allowed us to experience the wines fresh out of the bottle and again after they breathed. I truly am grateful for the experience as not only do I know more about wine but also my personal preferences. We each left with 3 bottles to bring home to the states. We also shopped their other good leaving with Truffle Chips, Soap, Frangrances and upon special request, Pasteis De Nata. So much elegance and rich culture in this one beautiful place. The tour guides Axel and Daniel were AWESOME. These men are guardians of the ocean and knew intuitively where the dolphins would surface. They have respect for the sea creatures, the ocean and for their guests. They maneuvered their sea craft safely by the cliffs and in the caves. I felt exhilaration and the guides were just as excited when the dolphins emerged. These men are the BEST that the Algarve experience has to offer. I was Blessed!!! We booked our Kayak Tour off Viator, and they booked with Dolphins Driven. There were 3 adults and…read more2 children in our party, and overall there were only 12 adults total in the group for the tour. Options were available for single or double kayaks which was nice for the kids to be paired with each adult, and that I didn't have to pair with a random stranger. The guide spoke english, and was able to answer any questions we had. They took us out to sea via boat and then we got into the kayaks. The water was calm, and even though I was a bit tired - we got to go for 1.5 hours and it was not too challenging. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for 2 reasons: The first was that there really wasn't any instructions, safety briefing or what to expect before getting into the kayaks. It was as simple as hold your paddles here and have the paddles facing this way for forward. It may be an american thing to expect a bit more, but for never kayaking before it made me a bit nervous to not have instruction. The second was that we didn't see the Benagil Caves. We had booked via viator for a Benagil Cave Tour, and the Dolphins Driven promotional photos included photos of the Benagil cave - so it felt a bit misleading.
