Going into this tour, I wasn't too sure that I wanted to do the kayaks because it was so cold, however once I hit the water I had no doubt that I made the right decision to be there. I absolutely loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone going to the area. If you are worried about it being too cold, I would say take the risk, everyone had fun and the sun kept us warm.

I experienced whiplash in my neck and have been using painkillers ever since. This was a real downer on my holiday. To make matters worse, when I spoke to the staff the following day (I wanted to give them a chance to respond before sharing anything online) they shrugged their shoulders and got defensive and laid the blame for my injury on me... For background, on this tour there was barely any information on what the tour entailed nor safety procedures. The spinning around and going fast and getting splashed with water was all par for the course however the crew do these 'nose dives' where the boat stops abruptly and a huge wave of water engulfs the boat at high speed. When I say huge I really mean it, the wave goes well over one's head. That volume of water travelling at that speed is genuinely like getting hit by a car (a cubic meter of water is literally a tonne). At no stage did the crew check that the clients were comfortable nor did they say that if we were uncomfortable that we should put one's head down or other mitigating measure to reduce the immense force. Some seats on the boat were more vulnerable to the force, notably the back of the boat, and the driver could have informed us of that before we got on the water. The driver and his assistant don't even have a view of the passengers as the passengers all sit to the rear. I'd highly recommend steering clear of this tour and company.

I have hired some cars in my life and I have also worked in the hotel sector so I know what toexpect from car rental agencies usually. As I originally wanted to rent from Luzcar in Lagos over the 1st of May and was rejected due to floods of people who had been faster than me, I walked just down the street for 50 m close to Lagos Marina where I came about the inviting-looking car rental that had bikes and scooters for rent as well, standing in front of the garage. As I walked into the office I was immediately greeted by two ladies who both seemed very well spoken both in Portuguese and English and made no fuss. Easy car rental deluxe. Patricia offered me, right from the start, the cheapest option that would still include the "Teilkasko" insurance on the road. For a 24 hour rent, 40 Euros, which is Un-Beat-Able! For an additional 8 Euros, I went for the Vollkasko, the careful German that I am. I got a small car, filled with gasoline and she even showed me around the whole car to make sure we both agree on the little marks in the car paint. She even made sure I knew about the fact that the highways are going to be tolled, but that I would be able to get whereever I wanted to go in the Algarve on the national roads anyway. And by the way, the unlimited mileage is included! I have seriously never felt more safe when renting a car, because normally, you never know about hidden costs here and there. Here, the staff is straight to the point, well-educated and supportive. I can only wish them that they keep up this great service and I will surely come back for their services on my next vacation and tell my friends about it.

Great bike Great customer service…read moreWe arrived Monday morning along with all the other tourists that wanted a rental. We were quickly served and put our 100 euro cash deposit in each bike, plus paid 40 euro for each e-bike we rented. The helmets were an added 3 euro each. The bikes were new Trek e-bike verse2 model. It was different than our US Verse model... The bikes were in excellent condition. We also got our seats adjusted and were trained on the two locks that each bike had installed on them. Each bike also had a brand new paneer where we carried a picnic as we rode out to the salt flats area Highly recommend! Only wish they were also open on Sunday, as we would have done a 2 day rental.

Others had the same idea and there was a rush when they opened at 9:30am. The staff was very helpful and moved us through the rental process quickly. We rented two ebikes for the day for 40 euros each plus 3 euros per helmet. They closed at 19:00 so not a bad price for up to 9 hours. One caution you need to leave a 100 euro deposit per bike in cash! Luckily we had just enough on hand! The bikes were very nice and well maintained Treks. The staff made sure they were adjusted for us and we knew how to operate them and the locks. A top notch operation!
