Due to this, we wanted to eat at the restaurant before we left Zurich. This one was closest to us. We went when it was late out and were seated quickly. The waiter understood English and the food came out quickly. We ordered all their flavors to try and they were all delicious. 10/10 would return. For all my tourist friends though, I was kind of scared walking in this area at night. I found out later that it's the red light district so maybe proceed with caution? Looks like a lot of hip restaurants opened though so maybe it's become gentrified

We had some trouble finding the restaurant at first, but once we did, it was a very enjoyable evening. The waiters were courteous and helpful (although mostly in Swiss German), the selection of beers - quite impressive (shout out to Shangri-la beer from Tibet - a nice international pale ale almost impossible to find anywhere else). The food was amazing as well - despite being a big fan of Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine and having tasted momos in dozens of different places, the momos we ordered at Tibetasia were definitely within the top 3 of my favorites. Finally comes the location. It's a calm square with several other restaurants and we were seated at the terrace, enjoying the view and the weather. It's a really cozy and relaxed atmosphere that is hard to recreate. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive - but at the same time, it's Switzerland and a pretty trendy location in a major city. Overall an excellent place and I am looking forward to coming back next time I am in Zurich.

It's typical in Zurich for some reason that Asian restaurants also offer all genres instead of specializing in preparing one cuisine really well. The only thing I could Identify as Tibetan were the momos and about 4 main courses. I ordered one of them - chili beef. It was delicious. My wife ordered a Thai curry, which was also delicious. The momos were also yummy, but CHF 32 for 5 or 6 dumplings!? Service by our main waitress was miserable. The owner who didn't take an active role in serving our table seemed friendly enough as he wished us farewell as we left. Unfortunately, another case of "Ja... ganz ok."

The food was actually OK, and on a scale of 10 was maybe 7. I ordered a beer off of the menu which showed CH 4.95. After asking for the bill, they overcharged me CH 6 for the dinner, and CH 1 for the beer. I asked the waitress to show me the menu and I pointed out the discrepancies. She went back-and-forth saying that she did not know why etc. etc., but I have to say that this is a very dishonest establishment. The extra CH 7 was not going to make me or break me, it's just the principal that they were so blatantly dishonest.

When we walked in, we were the only customers there and we felt a little uneasy. But the server/chef was very welcoming and, despite the language barrier, we managed to order what we wanted -- lovely, fresh vegetable dumplings with a nice, light, creamy, probably house-made sauce on the side. Fortunately, Tenz does their momo's the right way. I like all three of their momo's: they are juicy and pretty filling. While I traditionally lean towards meat dumplings, I do think both their vegan and vegetarian options are pretty tasty and I prefer eating a mix of all. In addition (and very importantly) their chili sauce is delicious! The restaurant itself is quite no-nonsense but perfect for a late nite bite with friends or you can do a takeaway, plus the staff is always quite friendly. Great place for a quick but tasty bite.
