I was inspired by early 20th century Russian Silver Age designs that combined art nouveau and medieval Russo-Byzantine designs with a sleek modern aesthetic. From the outset, they made a big show of properly sizing my engagement ring, but when it arrived, it was a size 6 instead of 5. I also requested a diamond report, as is expected in any diamond buy, but instead of providing one, I was told to "get it online myself." Completely unprofessional. After I returned the ring for resizing, there was no apology for the mistake. To make matters worse, because of the resize a custom engraving was half cut off, which was completely unacceptable. When I asked for it to be re-engraved, they attempted to charge me despite previously assuring me that I wouldn't have to pay for their errors. To top it all off, when the ring was returned to me post-re-engraving, I discovered that the diamond was nearly falling out (it was spinning in its prongs and toppling). At this point we thought "wow if we give them this ring again WHO KNOWS what's going to happen." We hoped to find a life time jeweler and a place to continue buying new pieces. Now? Never Ever Again. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. Save yourself the frustration and find a jeweler who actually values their customers. Meritage: No accountability, no concern for the state of the ring, and zero attention to detail.
