Wow! What a surprise it was to find a food truck like this in Hamburg…read more A fresh cooked, juicy, cheese smothered, fried onion topped, crispy bacon laden, sauce covered burger of gastronomic delight! Most burger shops in America would be hard pressed to turn out a sandwich this tasty, much less from a truck. It appears the cook/owner has found his true calling in making one of the best hamburgers that I've had in a long time. I opted for one of the lower tier burgers, but if one has the appetite, he can make you a double patty behemoth with the works on it. I wanted to be able to eat the next day, so I had to restrain myself... The cook starts out with fresh ground beef that he cooks in front of you and when done, tops it with anything you desire. Then, your piping hot burger is wrapped in paper, cut in half, and handed to you with a smile. Look out tastebuds, here it comes! The menu sticks to burgers, but they are made perfectly and with consistency. Drinks are available and usually a couple of tables are set up so you can nosh on your burger nearby or take it with you if you please. The truck moves to different spots around town, so you may need to check online for the current location to get your F-Burger fix. So, when you've had your fill of wiener schnitzel, sauerbraten, and scheinehaxe, you may want to check out some fresh ground beef for your next lunch! I'm already getting hungry again thinking about these burgers... Any chance of starting up another truck back in the states? Great job! We'll be back for another round when we're in Hamburg again!!

We had passed it on our way there earlier, and realized it was the taqueria some friends had recommended as "the best in Hamburg". Let's just say that our high expectations were not disappointed! The tacos were absolutely delicious, especially the pollo al ajo and the tongue taco. The vegetarian options were delicious as well (we tried the pinto beans and fresh cheese and the cauliflower and chickpeas tacos). We also tried the cochinita and brisket tacos and really enjoyed them. I guess there's no point in ranking them... they were all delicious! We waited for the tacos with a plate of mouthwatering fresh and simple guacamole and a couple of Sol beers. The place was packed and had a half an hour wait despite being close to closing the kitchen (we were told it happened at around 10:30 pm). We decided to find some room at the bar and eventually a stool freed up, so we ate there. It was a good call, since we wouldn't have been seated in time. One final thing: they have churros with chocolate for dessert but we didn't get to try them, as they had run out! We'll definitely give them a go next time.
