Bingo Creatives has unique plushies, vinyl toys, and many things that would make great gifts. By unique plushies I don't mean ugly I just mean something that you wouldn't see in a Toys-R-Us. The vinyl toys they had were awesome cat totoro? Darn I want it for myself.They feel more special. It also features amazing miniatures for sale that would be great for miniature , doll, or figurine lovers. They seem quite well made if albeit expensive. This place isn't entirely cheap but I can't complain since they are pretty nice. Just a warning to those with dog allergies. The owners had a dog in the back so if you are severely allergic you may want to stay out of the store.

What the heck!! Sounds like throwing money down the drain to me... yet the line keeps getting longer, and their "New Arrivals" or "New Series" keeps coming. This is a great store to browse. In Chinese, its "San Lian Shu Dian" or "Sam Leen Shu Deem" but if you didn't already know that, its likely the book selection isn't for you. I note this because virtually all of their books are published in Chinese. Lots of materials that were never given an English Cliff Notes version (aka Chinese Literature) will be on full display here. Whether its a New York Times Best Seller translated into Chinese or a How To book on anything, it's going to be available here. What do you do when you're not exactly Chinese literate? First of all, you'd probably have to figure out why you're there. Are you learning Chinese? Buying a gift for someone who does? Best ask an associate for some recommendations for a good read. And yes, ask one who speaks a reasonably good amount of English. The service has been good here, the crowds rarely flock here (#3) and the prices seem fair though a non-bookworm (aka me) has a hard time parting ways for any hardcover book for $50 unless its limited edition or includes an entire volume set. Above all, her customer service was "old school", she's pleasant and smiled and chatted with me, asked questions to find out what I might like, and I felt that she was interested in actually helping me honestly rather than just pushing a sale. Such a lovely change from the usual feeling I get where I get the sense the sales person is disinterested and not particularity friendly, and do just want to push a sale. I don't like fake reviews and I don't usually bother to write reviews since most times shopping nothing happens that makes me feel that I want to. Dealing with Pinty was just a really nice experience, and I just want to thank her and compliment her on her kindness and professionalism that actually do a review. Most of my clothes are from Joseph, what I really like about this brand is the style and the quality. Although I live in Coquitlam and there is Bellesima store in Port Moody but I prefer to go to the one inside the Metrotown. They have more selection and the staff are very nice and helpful.

TOTO is a store hidden away in the curve of the mall near Winners at Metropolis at Metrotown. I…read moredon't usually venture this way but my sister told me about a cute shop that sold lots of great gifts and kawaii items. I enjoyed the white walls and floors, bright lights, and carefully organized display of all the items. This shop reminded me of a whole bunch of asian shops rolled into one. From unique scarves and hats to cute keychains to adorable hair clips to trendy blazers to tights of all patterns to bags to sunglasses to socks to sparkles to glitter to anything cute and whatever you can find at any asian mall shop generally. A lot of the items are priced high but then almost all of them have a 50% off sticker attached to it. Makes you think you're getting a deal... worked on me! I bought a cute white puffball keychain accessory for 50% off for $7 (originally $13). The woman working at the counter was initially pre-occupied with her cell phone and didn't care too much my sister and I were in there. However, when we asked for help she was there to assist and then carried back to her phone. I didn't mind because it relieved us of the stress with someone always looming around. In the end, a lovely new store that I'll enjoy oohing and ahhing and "that's so cute"ing at all day. Off TO TOTO TOday!
