Very modern, and definitely well-kept. The inside of the restaurant portion has high ceilings, cool decor, and lots of seating including couch-like spots. We sat out on the patio though, which was so spacious. There's even a green space between the restaurant and the taproom building on the opposite side. There you'll find yard games, adirondack chairs, and even a stage where I assume they have live music. We just grabbed some wings and beers on our stop in. Love they offer 20oz in their big, custom mugs. My lager was just OK but my husband loved his amber-like selections. Good wings too. Solid spot for locals and travelers.

It was served with a cup of French onion soup, which worked as a delicious dip for the burger. Yum. Can't wait to see what new burger they come up with next month!

Not greasy, the potato puffs were outstanding, and the spicy thin cut Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious. Our server was nice, kinda quirky, but nice, and the service was overall very good. We had two old fashioneds, (maple and blueberry) and I'd say they were sweeter than expected. I'd say if you don't want it as sweet, inform them to make it less sweet/simple sugar. You want to taste the liquor... and that I think was a slight shame. It was still good- but ask for less sweet.... Additionally, had the pumpkin cheesecake, and that was very good too. It was heavy, but still very good. Very clean, the bathrooms were clean, and the facility was very organized and this old building has been revamped and is now a nice shiny jewel of Baraboo. Highly recommend. Get the duck... absolutely one of the most underrated platter that goes highly unnoticed. Get it. Thank me later.
