Located in the town's gas station/general store, the market has a really nice selection of choices on their menu. From sandwiches to appetizers, most everyone should be able to find something to satisfy their hunger. Additionally, the old school store has liquors, various non-alcoholic drinks and some groceries available for purchase. After ordering at the checkout counter, we grabbed a table in their small dining room. When our meals came, everyone in my group was happy with the taste, preparation and size of their meals. I had the Cuban panini and fries. Hot and filled with ingredients, I'd say it was every bit as good as other Cuban sandwiches I've had over the years. With a nice serving of fries, I was filled upon finishing my meal. Overall, a really good first experience at a place that came highly recommended. If you are in the area and need a bite to eat, it is definitely worth a visit!

I ordered the cherry mule - not my favorite, tasted quite artificial and heavy on the ginger beer. For my meal I ordered a black bean breakfast burger (no bun) with beer cheese soup. This was totally delicious! The burger was fresh, prepared perfectly, and balanced. The beer cheese soup was savory and great for a fall evening in WI :)

They give this to you in a raw tortilla (it said it was grilled on their online menu), and the "bacon" is actually just prepackaged pepperoni??? The salsa was put into the burrito so by the time I got home it was too soggy to eat. I had to throw it away. Then we ordered the grilled cheese and added egg to it. I opened the sandwich up and it had huge chunks of raw avocado (was thinking it'd be like a nice mash with seasoning in it). No seasonings, not even salt, on this sandwich. The egg was virtually non existent it was so small. I had to whip up additional eggs, Avo, and toppings to salvage this sandwich which I should've just thrown away. Again, I don't mean to sound harsh. But when this was my most expensive meal in this little town, I thought I'd be getting something at least edible in nature. Girls were nice and the inside was spacious and clean. If I didn't order the food, I would've been none the wiser. Every year we'd anticipate the cooler weather and plan our order and call it in over the phone and they'd pack a flat rate priority box with as much aged cheddar, fresh curds Colby and brick as possible and find a window where the weather would be cool and it wouldn't sit at the post office over a holiday or weekend. I'd bring them to holiday parties and hand them out to friends until there was only one or two pounds left and then we'd make that last until the next order. Sadly that was our last order, now begins the new adventure of getting the cheese. I don't know what's going to happen. I'll report back when I find out.
