Manny and Junior and their crew came and sealed all our ducts. We had a different company come out 5 years ago and the repair didn't last. Manny came out and laid out the process and the warranty on sealing all the ducts. We are Realtors so we are very fussy about who we recommend to our client family--Manny has our trust. We are happy to not have any more sand showing up in the boots! I'm a bit of a neat freak and I love all the white everywhere and no dirt or sand. We hired Manny after a home inspection found we had rust and holes in the duct work at our new house. He is able to perform video inspections of the ducts and find where there are rust, cracks or holes. He then uses a special coating to repair and seal the affected areas. The work is guaranteed for 15 years, and can be completed in as little as 2-4 hours. Our damage was more severe, so it took several sessions, but each session only took about an hour. We were happy with Manny's quick response to calls, good communication with us about the work that is being done, and with his cleanliness (not tracking in dirt) and his concern for our animals (not letting them out), etc. The one thing I would change about the experience was that we had to have our A/C coil pulled so they could repair damage near the coil. To do this, we had to contact an A/C repairperson to come out separately to pull it and replace it. We used a man recommended to us by Manny, who was sort of the opposite of Manny: not a good communicator, changed the appointment time day of, and almost let my dogs out. If I had it do over again, I would have hired someone different for this part of it. It also seemed kind of weird that I had to coordinate all of that independently of the duct work, though it was part of the process fo the work getting done. We're very happy with the work Manny and his assistant did, and considering the amount of time he spent out here, the 15-year warranty and the fact that $300 of his fee went to the coil puller, I'd say it is a great value. read more

If your ducts are under your house you need to have Manny at Thunder Ducts to coat them ASAP. We have lived in our home for almost 30 years and I wish I could have had this done a long time ago because I have suffered with allergies and other major health issues for years that have been cause by poor air quality in my home. First our registers were all rusted and so was our plenum (the box under your furnace). You will need to fix any water issues first with gutters or drains. Our ducts are transite which is concrete and up to 50% asbestos. They were in good shape but with concrete there is mold and everyone should know about the issues with asbestos. I actually had replaced my resisters and plenum before I discovered DuctAmor and I would have saved a lot of money had I gone to Thunder Ducts first. Be very careful to use someone else that has duct sealing in their name. I didn't get what I thought I was paying for. I will say that Randy the boot man did a great job with the registers and Manny will be honest with you if it would be better to replace them or have him just spray them. I would have also saved money had I used his guy that cleans the ducts first. Manny and his helper were very polite and did a fantastic job. He spayed them the first week and then came back in and sprayed them again after the first coat had dried. This way he made sure that 100% of my ducts are coated and are now airtight. I now have no mold or dust! He even did my plenum that had been coated with a truck bed liner that I hadn't even contracted him to do but he did it and also made sure that my registers were air tight and sealed also. I can't say enough wonderful things about Manny. We paid another company to clean our vents, only to have sand start shooting out our laundry vents. Turns out we had several leaks in our vents. Manny was very helpful and did top quality work. We even had trouble with the previous cleaning company coming out and recleaning the vents so that Manny could go in and coat. Manny was very patient and helpful in working with us while we had to overcome our issues with the other company. He really wanted to make sure we got quality work. My husband and I have worked on remodeling all our houses (4 in 17 years) and always keep a list of quality, reliable companies.
