From the time we got on the phone with TS until I shook Billy's hand for the last time the experience was absolutely professional and great! We were able to get Billy out from their Second Opinion inspection because we were told from a shady tech that our compressor was definitely out and that we needed to replace our whole unit but that answer just didn't sit right with us. So the next day we called TS and had them come out and see if a bad compressor was really our problem. The first thing Billy did when he came out was check and change our burnt wires that were connected in the unit. The entire time Billy was explaining exactly what he was doing as he was working and had a great sense of humor while doing it. He also changed the filter inside and cleaned out the unit with a hose to finish the job. Needless to say the job was done in about an hour and a half and was literally a fraction of the cost of getting a whole new unit like we were advised before his arrival. As our almost 20-year-old HVAC system was losing Freon and needed to be replaced we chose TS Heat and Air to do the refit for us. Kathy Bell, the general manager, was especially helpful assisting us to determine which Lenox heating and cooling units best met our needs, as well as scheduling the install appropriately for our schedule and local weather conditions. The install techs, Josh and Hunter, were on time, worked through the job without breaking, were efficient, worked well as a team, and cleaned up as the job progressed. They did an excellent job of routing the new refrigerant lines, and they hauled away all the old equipment. Went to bed Saturday night next to a screeching air conditioner right outside our bedroom window. We thought for sure the unit was toast. Called TS Sunday morning and Billy was here by 11:30 am. Thank goodness for TS's maintenance program! With some companies you wonder whether you're getting a true diagnosis of the problem. I never question that with TS. Billy showed me our unit was manufactured in 1989 so was installed when our home was built in 1991 . If he told me I needed a unit, I would have believed him. The one drawback was there was no time frame given only a day of service. Once arrived, Billy was very polite and got right to work doing my spring tune up. He explained everything he was doing and offered a total service agreement giving me a chance to look it over and ask questions. At no time did he give me a sales pitch, but explained possibilities in the future years for the system, including pros and cons of making choices. The circuit board on my system shorted out and also burned up the fan. As a result, I had no heat for the last couple of days. TS is an honorable and reputable company. Instead of just selling me a new board and fan, they checked to see if the warranty was still good on my equipment - even though they were not the original installer! This saved me over $2000. Chris Boese is the technician I always ask for. He is knowledgeable and very courteous. He sticks with the job until he resolves the issue.
