I am so happy I chose Lauren for my wedding hair! The whole booking process was seamless, I was able to get a thorough hair trial a few weeks before the wedding day, and Lauren was flexible on my wedding day moving around appointments so she could travel and do my hair in time (I was a solo appointment- I didn't have a full bridal party). My hair is super thick and can be unruly in the heat, and of course it ended up being 90+ degrees on my wedding day but she managed to pin it perfectly and spray enough to hold it. It lasted ALL day in the heat and humidity- I was so impressed. Highly recommend her for bridal hair!! read more

Lauren is an absolute angel!! She's a wizard with hair. I came to her with purple hair from another salon back in Kansas City, very nervous it would turn out horrible like the last two people I had seen in IL. She matched it perfectly and blended it so well. Today, it was time for my visit with her and I wanted a chop and back to my natural brown. She did it and made it look better than I could have ever imagined! If you need hair or makeup services, please see her!! Our on-location wedding team specialized in professional hair and makeup services, with airbrush makeup with an expertise in understanding makeup that is both long wearing and camera ready paired with classic, timeless, fun, trendy or any style of up styling, down styling or beautiful curls for your big day! History

Established in 2020.

In October of 2022, I sold my large salon and spa in Champaign to work from my studio at home. This has given me the opportunity to give my clients the undivided time and attention they deserve when they reserve time with me, we get to spend quality time making them look and feel their best. I have been doing makeup and hair for weddings since 2012 and am now be able to better prioritize the beautiful brides that I have the honor of working with. I have built an incredible team of top notch makeup artists and hairstylists that make up the Thrive Bridal Team and have the absolute pleasure of learning from them nearly every weekend throughout the year. My mission is to ensure every client feels like someone special. To make you look and feel better about yourself when you spend time with me. The health and integrity of your hair and skin are my number one priority. Your time at Thrive will leave you feeling like you treated yourself.

I am filled with sunshine and light that permeates every encounter with every client. Nothing makes me feel better than to make others feel confident in their beauty choices. I am truly a beauty guru and would love to discuss any hair, skin, makeup, nail questions you may have. I want to ensure that my clients can recreate any look themselves and achieve any beauty goals you may have.
