Nice little ice cream spot located in the plaza! Lots of hard-served ice cream options to choose from. I enjoyed a refreshing cone of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Lots of parking in the lot, and a very short walk from the Holiday Inn Express hotel. read more

When it's hot outside, what better thing to do than get ice cream?!…read more San Carlos is hot and humid. Thrifty ice cream is considered a better quality ice cream here so everybody was parked outside waiting for them to open! I just got a scoop of pistachio. 38 pesos or about $2 a scoop. Felt like being a gringo today lol. Their ice cream is always classic and good regardless of what flavor you choose. Cheers!
