Nos quedamos en Guaymas por un par de noches. No estamos familiarizados con lugares de comida en la ciudad así que buscamos locales cerca por medio de Google. Este local salió como un lugar cercano a donde nos hospedamos y después de ver las imagines y el menú variado decidimos venir a probar. Magnífica decisión! El local esta muy limpio, la decoración muy moderna. La atención al cliente no se hizo esperar, el muchacho nos ofreció una mesa inmediatamente. Tengo que decir que al momento de nuestra visita no había más clientela, y eso ayuda a la atencion, pero eso no cambia el sabor de la comida. Ordemaos un plato de chilaquiled clásicos, un plato de pan francés, un waffle con fruta y un sandwich del café. La comida estuvo preparada en menos de 20 minutos. La fruta en el pan francés y el waffle estaba fresca. El sandwich del café venía con papitas fritas recién echas y una salsa cremosa de chipotle al lado que no dejábamos de saborear. La salsa roja de los chilaquiles, en su punto para la mañana, ni muy picosa ni muy aguada. A mi familia le gusto la comida, a mi me gusto la comida y ahora tengo este lugar agregado como un lugar a donde llegar cuando venimos a Guaymas. Cheating the customers On the door it said they accept visa ... we go to pay The girl said No We do not accept Credit Card... ok I asked do accept US dollar She said yes... I put the rate in and the amount was 34.57 I gave her 40.00 US dollars... she they said No the amount was $60.00.... I wanted to know what her exchange rate was... would not tell me ... we said for get it one of us went to the bank and got pesos She would have received a nice tip... but no way after this Beware.... It wasn't what you would think .. I thought it was a American breakfast joint I was wrong. I had the chilaquiles, they where recommended by Jennifer the manager of this establishment. She was friendly nice and kind of informative. The food was good nothing to write home about but most places I when to in that town sucked so with that much said I gave this spot 3 stars. I won't be going back do to the depressing feeling and sad looking town not a tourist destination at all. Waist of time and money in reality, live and learn. read more

Food was delicious, yet the eggs on the croissant sandwich were a little too cheesy that it tasted too moist. Service was decent. Ambience and atmosphere was well designed yet stuffy a bit. read more

Very cool eatery located in the plaza! Lots of options in the menu to choose from, and far from just a coffee shop. I enjoyed a strawberry smoothie, expresso double shot, and the Mr. Onion Burger. Food was delicious, and service was wonderful! Lots of parking in the lot, and a very short walk from the Holiday Inn Express hotel. read more

Very relaxing place to be, the art work was super nice. Great service and the coffee was excellent. We ordered cafe Late and the taste was soothing, definitely a place to take a break and indulge in deliciousness. Would definitely go back and visit again. read more

Although not the easiest plaza to enter, due to Guaymas' dizzying relationship with Google maps, it is a super cool little coffee shop with breakfast. Be sure to brush up on the espanol, one of the baristas spoke spanglish, and between the her spanglish and my own we got the order figured out...much laughing was employed! This is essentially the only little area in Guaymas that felt like an office park. I am unsure about how that made me feel. So, much of the city is authentically Mexican that this little patch seemed out of place, but it is nice. If you are looking for espresso drinks, dirty chai lattes, americanos...the usual stuff from starbucks, this is the only spot we located. read more

This place is awesome, the kids wanted a good breakfast and after reviewing all the comments we decide to give Mr.John's Coffee Shop a try. We are so glad we did, the staff, service, food and location was great . It is very close to the Holiday Inn Hotel. The coffee shop is clean and very modern, on the menu there is something for everyone. I truly recommend this place and definitely will be back again... read more

The coffee and tea are good. The service is somewhat slow so be ready to wait, but make sure you order your drinks first that way your wait won't be in vain. Chilaquiles are a must and they are not Mexican hot, they have pancakes and waffles if you miss your typical Yankee break fast. read more
