They communicate constantly. I didn't wait for more than two minutes when they showed up with the car and the keys were handed over to me and I was on my way. I kept the first Chrysler Pacifica, which was absolutely perfect brand new and spotless for one week with my family. After my family returned to the US I changed cars to a Honda pilot and that changeover was also seamless. The Honda pilot was brand new spotlessly clean, and performed flawlessly. The Team at Black tie is great. I have a large family and this service made my trip even better. Puerto Rico is great and Black Tie Car Rental is awesome. I highly recommend them to everyone and I'm quite sure that the cost was comparable to the long, hot confusing rental car agencies around Luis Munoz International Airport. A staff member at National took our information for Alamo as well. Jesus waited on us today. Primary driver has to provide their credit card info for the car rental. We are renting a mid-size car. An upgrade with $30 for a SUV or Jeep Wrangler. They will let you pre-pay gas is $47. Gas is about $0.80/liter. $308 for 3 days, a tad expensive for 3 days. They will give us 10% off at the end our drive. Not bad. Rentals are all located on the 2nd floor. Staff on the parking level will tell us what our car will be. Easy to grab and go here. Pick a car in your segment and go. Either a newer Hyundai Elantra or a Kia Forte. Some visible scratches on the hood, back and the right side. It's a bit beat up, but mostly superficial. Not bad so far. Prices are higher than expected or normal for rental. Car is mid-size, low level and not too peppy, but it at least gets us around.

I had a slow-leaking tire and had to return the car earlier than planned. In the process, I accidentally left the RFID garage opener in the vehicle. By the time I realized and returned to look for it, the car was already gone. Without hesitation, Angel went to the mechanic where he suspected the car had been taken and even brought the car back so my husband, Jorge, could personally inspect it. He reassured us every step of the way that the RFID was not in the car and treated us with genuine concern and empathy. We left feeling heartbroken, believing the opener was lost. Halfway back to our hotel, Angel called us to say he had found it on the ground at the office. That moment said everything about who he is. The reservation we made 3 weeks ago was cancelled and the price increased by $150 when I made a new reservation the day of arriving, and there as nothing I could do about it. I wish they were more transparent and prioritized the customer more.
