I paid $17 for a 6-pack of Clausthaler Santa brew. When I told the cashier I paid less last time he said, "no, that's the price". Capital Beer in Huntington Station and Whole Foods Market charge $11 for the same item. They charged me at least $16.50 for a 12-pack of Yeungling Golden Pilsner (not sure what prices they charge as you don't get a receipt and totals are rounded up so they don't have to deal with coins). Stop&Shop charges $15.49, but it's usually on sale for $13.49. I used to buy O'Doul's Amber Ale here for a very reasonable price and they used to offer a cash discount (about $10 including bottle deposit and tax); before it was discontinued by Anheuser Busch. The new staff members are unfriendly and unhelpful. Selection is not good. A total ripoff. read more

Not a reputable establishment. Charged two different prices for the EXACT item one day apart, and NO it was not on sale the day before. I guess being dressed professionally had the person behind the counter thinking I should pay more on a Saturday vs the night before when I showed up in jeans and a tshirt. Just the throwback 80's jams that they play off of there iPad alone will have you loving this place. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They have a huge selection of foreign and domestic brews at excellent prices. For those that like Guinness I would recommend trying Porter Black Boss it is an amazing Polish brew. If you like wine coolers and sweet fruity stuff they have a huge selection of that as well. If you don't drink alcohol they also have a nice selection of juices and sodas. No matter what your taste is they will have something there that you will like. All said and done this is my go to beer house and really they are the best. read more

I decided to try this place on a whim after driving by. I shopped around a bit and headed to the register. The cashier assessed my pending purchase. She was able to pin point my taste in beer and steer me in a new yet familair direction. Denise (hope I'm spelling her name correctly, she was so sweet) recommended that I try the Founders "backwood bastard". She was deadly accurate. This beer is delicious and packs a punch to back its flavor. I highly recommend this place. This is officially my new go to spot if I feel like buying beer for the house. read more
