One of the best liquor stores I've been to on Long Island. Very friendly staff and the store is extremely organized and clean. Loved it.

Fairly new shop in a set back shopping center off of Montauk highway. The place is big and spotless. They're called wine obsession but they have an ample spirits sections too. Very good scotch selection if you like your liquor like I do, Old and Gold..... The prices are usually lower than what you'll find at similar stores and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My favorite liquor store! I am always met with smiling faces, which is very rare considering it is owned and staffed by young men. I am treated like a valued customer even though they know I will only be spending about 10 bucks. The sign on the door gently reminds people to please wear a mask, which is offered as soon as you walk in in a box. I hate the "No mask no service" signs I see all over. Go see them for your next purchase. read more

My girlfriend and I love this place. I am newer to the wine world and The staff is very helpful with helping my find great wine. With there help I am slowly trying many different wines and I have never had a bad wine suggested by them. You can go into this place and explain what your looking for and always get steered in the write direction. Update: I'm updating because the complaint that the store is dirty. To say that I'm confused about any negative reviews for Wine Obsession would be an understatement. The selection is great, with wines from large and small producers. If I have a question about a wine they're always ready to provide a helpful opinion. We're there about once a month and each time they know my name, are always courteous and always carry the box out to my car for me. This is my go-to store. read more

I'm going to be brutally honest here. If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. In regards to the customer service, it was atrocious. The two staff members were playing video games on their phones the entire time I was there. If I had a question, one never bothered to look up and the other was visibly upset he was being pulled away from his game, going so far as to curse under his breath and throw his phone because ringing up my purchase caused him to lose. He then would switch to false politeness, as if that would make up for the scene I had just witnessed. As for selection, the Stew Leonards wine store in Farmingdale is far superior (and many other wine stores in the surrounding areas are as well). They had very few local wines, which is sad considering that eastern Long Island has a good and well-known wine industry. They also did not stock very many liquors despite advertising this. I will never be coming back to this store, and I would suggest that you don't waste your time here either. read more
