I have shopped at Karen's for years and have always been very happy…read more However, my husband and I went in after Christmas and bought the entire Haunted Mansion collection for my daughter for her birthday and Christmas present next year, because it was 25% off. The total price for all of the pieces was over $550. The lady that helped me stated NUMBEROUS TIMES, that it was only 25% off because nothing is changing for next year and we can continue to add to it. I SPECIFICALLY asked her if I could bring it back to GET A REFUND, if we changed our mind and was told YES 2 OR 3 TIMES. My son in-law also bought the Haunted Mansion and 2 of the 8 ornaments. I immediately called the store and was told I could only exchange it for other ornaments NOT GET A REFUND. i asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not in but all sales are final. I needed to cool down, so I stopped at the store today and spoke with the manager. She said she was sorry but that is STORE POLICY! I said even though your employee gave us incorrect information and I only want to return the 3 pieces that are duplicates? AND NOTHING IS CHANGING FOR NEXT YEAR!! She said that is their perogative as a small business and that is their store policy. i have a customer of theirs since they originally opened their store in Springfield Township and have bought many cards, ornaments and gifts from Karen's Hallmark many, many years. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!
