They have an employee there named Jackie-I believe. And EVERY-TIME I have been there (at least 2 consistent years) she has been intentionally condescending, rude, very unpleasant, and generally annoyed when asked any questions. Her attitude alone makes me hate walking into this store. If her intention is to make everyone else's experience just suck, job well done. I've even noticed the way she has talked to her coworkers and that alone made me uncomfortable. ‍.

Arlene the paint lady works here, and that is really all you need to know…read more The woman is a paint tinting wunderkind. Paint, stain, whatever - bring in a dirty faded paint chip off your porch and she'll clean and match it. Screw up your guesstimate of a good stain color for the deck? She'll re-tint that gallon and have you on your way. Usual complement of hardware things as well, but the real standout is the paint in its quality (Valspar and Cabot) and service.

I said what are you talking about, the starter cord is catching. He then said just move the mower forward and it should start. I asked if he was going to look into why it was sticking, he said no that would cost too much money. When I picked up my mower the cord again stuck and the man told me the same thing about mowing the mower forward. I was charged $40.71 for labor though all he did was check the oil and gas and start the engine. I was also charged $4 for shop supplies, so the total came to $45. Curt's Small Engine Repair is awesome -- A+…read more I really can't say enough good things about Curt. He did a great job on my equipment, he's prompt, his prices are reasonable, and he's a very nice guy. I gave Curt 3 things to fix. My MOWER (which was an urgent repair) had a blown head gasket. Curt let me know quickly and he didn't B.S. me about the whole thing. It wasn't worth fixing so I just bought a new one at Home Depot. He fixed the carb on my SNOW BLOWER (actually, he installed a new one) and he did other maintenance. So I'm all set. Bring on the snow! Curt did a bunch of maintenance on my GARDEN TILLER, including finding a transmission seal that's no longer made by the manufacturer. (He found it on Ebay.) This one was tricky because it's a vintage heavy duty tiller with a modern Honda motor. Last -- but not least -- he cleaned up everything for me. And when he dropped off my stuff, he did me a favor and brought his air compressor and filled the tires on my three 2-wheel dollies and on my bicycle. Go see Curt if you need help, he's great! -Daddy Maxx Retro

I read the reviews and saw only one woman posted a negative review. I read that review and realized that it wasn't that Curt did a bad job, it was all about his political views and the fact they didn't align with hers. Seriously. What an eye roller! We called Curt on a Saturday, he answered and said he was free immediately for blade sharpening! He's about 5 minutes up the road. He did a fantastic job. We asked about the one review and he chuckled and said "I just don't like fixing 2-stroke engines, you can buy a new one for $200, so there's no way you can make money off fixing a leaf blower." To me that speaks of Curt's character in realizing the value of not only the different machines, but the value of his time, and his customer's time. We were able to finish a project in a day thanks to Curt. He was very nice and did a fantastic job! Totally recommend him.
