I haven't had an issue with the compounds or anything product related, however there is a…read morediscrepancy with insurance that is rather troubling. Myself and a coworker, we both carry the exact same insurance from our employer, we see the same doctor, and we are on the same progesterone compound injections from that same doctor. We take identical doses, of the same exact compound, through identical insurance. I am paying full price for my progesterone, because this pharmacy told me that my insurance (which they do accept) will not pay for it. My coworker had the same issue, but she contacted our insurance to see why it isn't covered, and they told her that it IS in fact covered, but it is being rejected because of how it is being billed by FW Custom RX. Her husband went in and argued with the pharmacist several times, telling him exactly how to bill our insurance so that it would be covered... Now since they file her progesterone differently, she gets hers for $30 less than I pay for mine... I've talked to Fort Wayne Custom RX on the phone about the insurance billing issue, and explained to them how they bill insurance for my coworker and that they need to be doing it the same for me. The man on the other end was extremely rude and refused to do anything about it. So I am still paying full price for my progesterone, when my insurance DOES cover a portion of it, but they won't do anything to correct their filing problem.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Women's Health Advantage. I had an appointment…read morescheduled for 11:00 a.m. and was specifically instructed to arrive at 10:45 a.m. to complete any necessary paperwork. When I arrived at 10:45 a.m. to check in, the receptionist told me that I was late and that my appointment was actually scheduled for 10:30 a.m. I had received a confirmation message several days before my appointment showing the appointment time I was given, and I tried to show the receptionist the email to explain that there appeared to be an error in their system. She was rude and would not even look at the email I was trying to show her. Because of the scheduling issue, I was told that I would have to wait until everyone else was seen before I could be seen, even though I arrived at the time I was instructed to arrive. I asked to speak with a manager because I felt this situation was unfair. The manager apologized, but the response felt dismissive, and I did not feel that anyone took responsibility for the inconvenience or the possibility that I could miss my appointment because of an error on their end. I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, but I expected the staff to listen, review the confirmation I had received, and treat me with basic courtesy. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and as though my time did not matter. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled in the future so other patients do not have the same experience.

Stellhort Chiropractic is awesome!…read more They don'tt take insurance or credit cards, and they do not take appointments (except for first time visits). It's cash or check only. Because of all of this, they are able to charge only $18 for an adjustment ($25 for the first adjustment, which comes with a spinal x-ray.) Dr. Ryan is awesome! He's a quick, efficient, and talented healer. His wife/office assistant listens to my issues before-hand and takes a quick history, doc reviews them and then has me adjusted and out the door in 10 minutes. You can't beat paying LESS for a great adjustment than my co-pay would be to go anywhere else. One thing: The adjustment room does have 2 tables, so you will often be in the room when someone else is getting adjusted, or there will be someone else there when you are. It doesn't bother me, but it could be a issue for some.

She was trying to hold it together while taking my information. (I was a new patient for him.) Once I got back to the room, she must not have put my information incorrectly, because he told me to come to the computer and enter my own information. Which I thought was highly inappropriate! He then told me to stand straight up, which I couldn't do because my back was messed up, and then he got mad when I couldn't do it and spoke very gruffly to me. He cracked my back, and it hurt like hell. I've been to three other chiropractors over 35 years and never had that issue ever. I told him I was in a lot of pain, and he disregarded it completely. I told him that I usually do yoga to stretch my back out and he said that was worthless, even though the three other chiropractors all said that was great for stretching out your back muscles and bones. Then he was bragging about how many clients he had and how great of a chiropractor he was. Totally arrogant and rude. I would never go back, and I would never recommend him to anyone.
